A warm welcome, very thorough explanation for breakfast, Wi-Fi access and a very nice single room with everything you could want for a short stay - tea/coffee and biscuits, usb socket (lovely surprise as I had forgotten my charging plug), very good breakfast : continental style but plenty of it. A reasonable walk into the town centre. Very happy with stay

Just a short walk from the city centre, although up a slight hill. The single room was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed including a very welcome fan, tea and coffee together with a small teapot and biscuits, hair dryer, body wash and hand wash. The owner was very welcoming and gave us bottles of water on our arrival and departure. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. Very good value for money.

Nice welcome from the owner. Good TV, shower and Internet. Clean and comfortable.
"Continental" breakfast with instant coffee, sad-looking plastic wrapped croissants, cardboard sliced bread and Dairylea cheese (though that's ok with marmite). I know it's a budget place but there must be good local bakers and cheeses - would it cost so much extra to provide something appetising?
