Thatched Brook Farmhouse is in an idyllic location surrounded by beautiful Devon countryside. Our room and bathroom housed within this stunning 17th century farmhouse were large and comfortable with plenty of storage space. Breakfast, carefully crafted by host Penny, was served piping hot and was delicious.

Breakfast was just right to help start our day. My husband and I were house hunting in Devon and it was a pleasure to come back to the farmhouse to relax. Penny and Paul are really nice and friendly people.

A tranquil thatched cottage dating back to I think around 1650 (can’t remember exact date). Tea on the lawn; delicious breakfast; perfect place to chill. Two beautiful friendly dogs.
We didn’t have a car which did make things more difficult. Penny kindly gave us a lift to our wedding venue we were attending. The surrounding lanes are extremely narrow. No nearby shops; places to eat within walking distance but you can’t have everything!
