Loved the place to be recommended to any visitor of Lyon

The proximity of the Lyon town and access to supermarket.

The property is an oasis in the middle of dunes of high buildings those hidden by high trees. The studio was functional and clean. The host was welcoming and allowed to park the car on the property. There was a feeling of mutual trust and courtesy. Also the place is excellent to reach Switzerland only couple of hours from there which we visited.

independant studio in old charming house with marvellous garden

The garden is stunning. The studio has kept some original parts of the old house which are marvellous: old cupboards, new cupboard with the old stone floor still in the inside, some old marble parts, old blinders, etc. It's well renovated but has kept the beauty of its old state. There were guides, flyers, maps and books about Lyon available. Even though it's not obligatory there was coffee and tea available for the morning. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The fact that even though the studio is basement from one side and ground floor from the other, there were enough windows and glass doors to have enough daylight.

The studio is on the ground floor of the house, and in the back it's actually basement, the other half has windows and doors. You had the smell of basements and humidity when you entered, perhaps because the heating is electric and only used when guests are over. Could be interesting to have ventilation more often. The couch was a bit creaky.

Good location for visiting Lyon

-very short walk to bus stop to get downtown -very comfortable bed -apartment located on ground floor of a large house set on Alarge property

-lack of comfortable seating -lack of windows for fresh air at night when the doors are closed -bathroom shower is VERY small - lack of outdoor lighting when entering the apartment from the entrance gate

Super nice appartment with a lovely owner. We really enjoyed our two day stay at this lovely place with nice garden.

Very small point: WiFi often disconnected on the terrace.

Beautiful place with a nice host

The studio is on the ground floor of a manor house which sits in a huge garden plot with mature trees and flowers, very beautiful and quiet. The room is good size and well equipped. Francoise, the host lady with excellent English, is very friendly and always on hand to help. She even gave us some eggs laid by her chicken for breakfast which were delicious and appreciated.

I had the impression that we could park inside the property ground, but was told it was not convenient when we got there. Although the free on-street parking is right outside the gate, it was a bit disappointing as we need to transport all the wines collected enroute inside and then out again when leaving. The shower cubicle is tiny and feels very tight even for small/regular sized like us. There is also a low humming from one of the pipes at a corner of the ceiling which you'll notice when going to bed, but we soon got used to it.

A calm retreat

The surrounding garden and location very peaceful. A bit out of town and very hilly but bus convenient and 10min journey only to city centre. 10 min walk to funicular F1 (ticket machines here). Supermarket close by and very friendly and helpful owners! Small for 4 but comfortable and excellent value for the family.

Piacevole soggiorno a Lione

Io mio marito e i miei due ragazzi di 15 e 16 anni abbiamo soggiornato in questo intimo studio e l'esperienza è stata davvero piacevole sotto ogni aspetto. Il monolocale è caldo, accogliente, l’ambiente luminoso, la pulizia impeccabile, l’arredamento perfettamente integrato con il carattere storico della casa padronale. Gli spazi sono comodi e ben distribuiti, la cucina è completa di tutto il necessario. La vegetazione e il parco rendono il soggiorno ancora più suggestivo. I letti comodi e le lenzuola profumate ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa e l’ospitalità di Françoise è stata impeccabile. La posizione è comoda, con parcheggio gratuito nella via principale (va segnalato che per entrare in Lione con la propria auto è necessario il bollino da richiedere via internet). Per raggiungere Vieux Lion si può prendere la funicolare (a 5 minuti di auto) oppure il bus, comodissimo. In sintesi, un monolocale perfetto per chi cerca relax, comfort e un'immersione autentica nella natura e comodo per visitare Lione. Assolutamente consigliato.

Agradável

Gostamos muito da anfitriã a Sra.Francoise, educada, prestativa, atenciosa. As instalações são boas, encontra-se tudo que é preciso. Tivemos que fazer o Check in às 22:00 horas, e não foi um problema, ficamos muito agradecidos pela compreensão. Achamos simpático encontrarmos cápsula de café, e temperos.

A distância para o centro da cidade é de 6 km, mas dependendo do horário é necessário até 1 hora. Outra coisa que não gostamos, e quero dizer que não é uma crítica, e sim uma dica, que o apartamento fica na parte de trás do prédio e a noite não tem nenhum iluminação, bastava por iluminação por sensor, assim facilitaria.

Heerlijk rustig en tegelijk vlakbij de stad

Een heerlijk rustig verblijf. Het ligt op amper een kwartier stappen van het Romeinse theater en verschillende lokale lekkere restaurantjes. De oude binnenstad ligt op een (fijne) wandeling van een half uur. Alles is perfect, een koel verblijf in de zomer, heerlijk terras in een gigantische tuin. De auto kan in het domein veilig geparkeerd worden.

Lieu enchanteur à 10mn du centre en bus, calme et beau, au centre d'un parc somptueux, animé par le chant des oiseaux. Stationnement gratuit. Studio spacieux et aménagé avec raffinement. Idéal après une journée de travail intense.

Location molto bella, ottima pulizia e kitchenette ben attrezzata. Alloggio comodo per chi viaggia in auto.

Mi sarebbe piaciuto sapere in anticipo che per entrare in città con l'auto sarebbe stato necessario un pass richiesto per le misure anti-inquinamento. Non è compito dell'host, ci mancherebbe, ma visto che sapeva che arrivavo da un altro paese mi avrebbe potuto avvisare.

C'était TOP.

Le séjour dans ce petit nid douillet était vraiment parfait. Tout était au rdv: l'accueil, l'emplacement, la gentillesse et la réactivité de notre hôte, la propreté irréprochable... Un vrai bonheur pour ce séjour à Lyon. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

Un apartamento muy acogedor en una casa preciosa.

La casa en la que se encuentra el apartamento es espectacular al igual que el jardín. El apartamento es cómodo, las camas también. El baño un poco pequeño al igual que la ducha si vas con niños pequeños pero no es algo especialmente relevante.

Nos resultó un poco complicado entender cómo funciona el sistema de las puertas para cerrar con llave, hay que levantar el pomo hacia arriba. De resto creo que estuvo todo genial.

Gastlichkeit und Geschmack mit Geschichte

Mir wurde ein sehr herzlicher Empfang bereitet, der auch gleich in die Vermittlung unterschiedlicher Tipps mündete. Im Falle einer späten Anreise stehen auch Kaffee, Tee, Zucker, ein paar Kekse bereit. Auch während des Aufenthaltes war die Kommunikation leicht und verbindlich. Das Apartment verbindet antike Elemente aus der langen Geschichte der Stadtvilla mit modernen hochwertigen Materialien und gutem Geschmack. Das Bett ist ausgezeichnet. Eine Vielzahl von touristischen und kulturellen Informationen werden zur Verfügung gestellt. Zwar liegt das Apartment auf einem Hügel eher am Rande der Stadt, ist aber mit einem Bus sehr gut und schnell mit der Innenstadt verbunden. Man kann auch von der Station der Seilbahn einen kleinen Spaziergang dorthin machen. Sobald sich die Tore zu dem Grundstück geöffnet haben ist man in einem wunderschönen Garten mit altem Baumbestand und genießt nach dem Tag in der lebendigen Stadt die Stille.

Nur ein winziger Tipp: ein paar schönere Weingläser würden dem geschmackvollen Gesamteindruck mehr entsprechen.
