Nice apartment but entrance from street needs improvement

Big open space, nice kitchen and big windows. Very quiet at night. Good location.

The entrance stairwell was poorly lit at night and the stairs leading to the apartment are very worn. Bathroom was not clean and no shower. Required to clean apartment prior to checkout or leave extra money. No cleaning instructions provided.

Cozy apartment in the historical centre of Lyon

Excellent location in the Vieux Lyon. Nicely equipped. Reactive and pleasant host.

It is a 3rd floor in an old building without a lift (for some might be a problem). It might be a bit noisy. Basically, it is one big room, with a high ceiling and bad on a elevated platform relatively close to the ceiling.

Fabulous!!

Beautiful apartment in a fabulous location. It’s on the 3rd floor, accessible by a stone spiral staircase which in itself is gorgeous in the ancient building. We knew this beforehand but it didn’t bother us. There’s a lovely coffee shop/pizza restaurant next door which is great. Laurent, the host, met us at the apartment and was great at showing us where everything was and how things worked. He even had a coffee with us before he left in the coffee shop next door. We love Lyon and when we go again we will definitely stay here!!

Great location and Laurent is lovely. We squeezed in a family of five and it was tight but adequate. Modern and clean. It is necessary to pay for coffee and purchase regular supplies like salt and pepper.

The sofa beds were uncomfortable and noisy.

Comfortable in an amazing building.

Lovely stay. It was only 1 night as I had got the dates wrong so needed an extra night. The just was extremely helpful allowing us to drop our bags in the morning before check in. That saved us a lot of effort. He was very helpful allowing the way through. The location is amazing but there are 3 flights of winding stairs to the room which so anyone with mobility issues will struggle. Amazing building. One of the many traboules in Lyon.

Spacious flat in vieux Lyon

A very spacious, nicely decorated and well situated flat. Two big sofa-beds were easy to do and comfortable. There is a big parking garage with lots of electrical parking stations right opposite the flat. For us, with two kids and loads of suitcases, the only minus was that it was on the 3rd floor without a lift...

This cozy flat is convenient to all of Vieux Lyon.

Great location in the heart of Old Lyon. Public parking is nearby, and the flat is easy to find. It is accessed via a medieval spiral staircase, and there are a lot of stairs. If stairs are a problem for you, you'll want to choose a different place. The main room is spacious and well-appointed, with a delightful mix of original walls and beams, yet all mod cons. I loved that there were maps and brochures for the top tourist sites and restaurants, and a binder from the host chock full of useful information about Lyon. Note that the loft space where the bed is located is quite small and has a low ceiling. It's cozy and comfortable but takes getting used to. Host Laurent was soooo responsive and generous! We were met in person and given keys. There was also a lock box and door codes. Laurent checked in with us throughout the visit to make sure all was well. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more congenial host.

We loved it, but if you don't like steps or cozy sleeping nooks, this may not be the place for you.

Super stay in Lyon!

Location was super, in the middle of the old town with lots of nice restaurants and shops. The flat was cosy and clean with a good atmosphere. We really enjoyed our 2 days stay over on our way to the Ardeche and will definitely be back. Also thanks to Laurent for being a great host!

Location that gives quick access to most sights of the ancient city yet opens on the river Saone, tasteful and clever renovations of a medieval space, helpful and cheerful emails from the owner, estaurant (Grive) at the corner with delicious, creative versions of c traditional food.

Climb up 4 flights of a curving medieval stairwell, 81 steps. We are in g[d shape but returning to the curving apartment was difficult.

A spacious apartment which was clean & tidy, situated in an old building.

The location could not have been better. Just a five minute walk into the old town & the main car park was a couple of doors away underground. The host was very contactable & keen to make sure we had all we needed.

After a days walk around the old town, I must admit, the stairs were a bit of a chore at the end of the day. Not one to tackle if you have mobility issues or heart problems, that's for sure. The double bed located on the mezzanine floor was an issue for us. No headroom & bad access for a second person. There are however two sofa beds to use.

There were many stairs that were somewhat treacherous with luggage. There is no AC and it is difficult to pull out both sleeper beds at the same time which took some maneuvering.
