Great group stay in a lovely location for New Year

Well equipped, good size for our group of 9. Good size kitchen and public room. Well located within a charming village.

Upstairs showers pressure can be variable when more than 1 being used. Bit inconvenient This is noted in the owners instructions so we knew this could be an issue!

I know it will be a health and safety requirement but the fire doors were a struggle for my kids and grandmother to open

Fantastic group accommodation

Lovely location. Great to have all 5 bedrooms ensuite. The kitchen is well laid out for 10 with a large table to gather round. The fireplace in the living room was amazing. Would recommend.

Showers on the top floor were running cold with so many people wanting showers. The power had to be reset but all the instructions were there.

Lovely Large House but a bit tired and definitely not a luxury stay.

Easy Walk to lovely dining in Village Pub

House had no heating on arrival Wood for fire was damp and we couldn't find any outside - had to buy some, luckily village shop could supply 4 Mugs with large chunks were in the cupboard - strange no one noticed Shower in Bunk room was cold and other showers were inconsistent Our room on top floor had cobwebs wall to wall over the bed Plastic champagne flutes.

House was lovely, bonus was each of the rooms having their own bathroom really met requirements that we wanted for a couple of nights away :) location was good short walk to a pub/ restaurant and short drive to other local visiting and attractions

Unfortunately the bunk bed room the bottom bunk needs a new mattress, can’t possibly get a good sleep on this bed, mattress is to thin and can feel the wooden slats under the mattress, so if booking keep it in mind to possibly not use this bed, recommend owners to replace the mattress

Excellent house and facilities in good location for exploring area.

Spacious rooms all with en suites. Lovely wood burning fire and good family kitchen/ dining room.

Windows a bit draughty and old. I ended up in bunk bed room - mattress not great but lovely en suite.
