Location, 10-20 minute walk to city centre
Photos can be provided showing poor standard of cleanliness and overall state of the property. From the outset, it was clear there were issues. Starting with parking which consists of one standard opening lock up. May be possible to squeeze 3 x mini vehicles but a struggle to park a medium SUV and impossible to park a large SUV. Attitude being if you can’t park onsite you are directed to local NCP car parks, one of which is 2 miles walk away. The property is badly stained and marked with torn mismatched furniture. The oven and microwave were filthy, hob marked, pots and pans badly stained. Fridge and freezer needed defrosting and a deep clean. Very basic bed linen and towels supplied. Almost every wall, floor and ceiling marked or stained. Carpet on stairs badly marked. Poor cleanliness. Balcony a health and safety issue due to rotten planks which are covered with tatty false grass. Outdoor furniture has no cushions. Food brought had to be thrown away due to inability to cook it.

Very central location. Merchant City! Central Station and Queen street station very close! We had a great Christmas and New Year! We would be back! It was perfect for all our group
Two saloon cars would be okay to park as the penthouse has a lock up garage! Third car might not fit! Plus if you have a long suv or Range Rover, it might not be easy to park in the lock up garage! If it doesn’t there is Q park paid parking nearby! St Enoch shopping centre just at the back, also has lots of parkings available!

FALSE AND MISLEADING ADVERTISING ON BOOKING.COM's LISTING FOR THIS APARTMENT.
The apartment is dirty and run down. It is badly in need of repair, upgrading and cleaning. The couches are stained and dirty. Part of the rail on the balcony is broken, making it extremely unsafe. We had children in our group and had to lock the doors to the balcony and hide the keys so the children could not access the balcony. The walls are marked and dirty and paint chipped.
The bedrooms are small, one in particular with a double bed and single bed has no space for luggage... we had to keep our luggage in the hallway outside the bedroom. The single bed is right up against the cupboard door and the double bed is right up against the window and curtains with very little room to walk around. The bed linen is tired and old and the pillows smelt stale and dirty and are very thin. The main bedroom (the largest bedroom) is advertised as having an extra large double bed and a sofa bed... there is only a double bed in that bedroom.
The walls are marked and dirty.
It is advertised as having 3 bathrooms. There is an ensuite bathroom and a very small main bathroom with a broken cupboard that is taped together. What is supposed to be a 3rd bathroom is just a toilet and basin. No bath mats provided.
There was a half eaten chocolate bar on the floor in one of the bedroom cupboards plus fluff and dirt on the cupboard floor. One bin is provided in the kitchen, no bins in bathrooms or bedrooms. The kitchen is photographed as having an island bench, however the bench is right up near a wall with 2 seats on that side, very difficult to move around.
We had booked and paid for 11 people, however there were only enough beds for 9 people
We had booked and paid for 5 nights, however only stayed 1 night given the lack of enough beds, the dangerous, dirty and run down state of the apartment.

The property is close to everything. It’s got some lovely outdoor space, with views over the river.
We arrived to, what seemed to me, a very used apartment. The furniture and carpeting were stained and the floors needed to be swept. The bedding looked old and stained. Overall, not a very clean environment. It was very disappointing. Many items were broken or beat-up. The washing machine was unusable.

Duplex and very spacious apartment. 4 good size bedrooms, enough space for a group of 8.
We enjoyed the nice pool table and large smart TV in the evenings.

The Penthouse had everything we needed and the space couldn’t be beaten. Very relaxing stay. Pool table was a bonus. As described in listing and pictures. Our favourite spot was walking around in the hustle and bustle of close by buchanan street and in the evening watching a movie at the Cinema just behind the property at st enochh shopping centre. The IVY restaurant at buchanan street was simply beautiful.
The kitchen could be a bit more equipped. Some extra glasses etc. We were 4 couples staying, as we needed a 4 bedrooms spacious property so we all can stay together. The rest everything was spot on.

it was situated in such a good central area, it was so clean when we arrived, the beds were so comfy, the balcony furniture was so good (and we got amazing weather for it), there was plenty in the house for cooking & when my friend met the host they were so friendly. and when leaving we weren’t expected to do loads of cleaning up (i.e stripping the beds), it was such an easy check in and check out.
the only thing I would say is for the price we were paying there would’ve needed to be suitable beds for everybody - if advertised at least 10 can fit, the couch bed would’ve been totally fine but the fact was it was in the living space where there were no curtains or blinds on large windows & door, so if you were to sleep down there it would be light for most of the sleep. we had to make do using couch cushions in the master bedroom on the floor, so that there was at least some darkness for your sleep, but those cushions kept obviously sliding around making for a very uncomfortable sleep. so it’s good there was a couch bed for the extra body - but it would’ve needed to be in a room with curtains/blind

Very spacious and new. Excellent for a big group. 8-10 people can easily sleep in the 4 bedrooms, nice quality beds for all guests. 3 good size toilets. Enough space for a few cars in the secured parking garage. Including cars, bicycles or any large items can be stored and it can be locked up. Very secure and CCTV coverage throughout. Two big terraces and mind blowing views of the river. Location can’t be any better. Right at the centre and everything just outside. Merchant City, Buchanan street, Argylr street, ST Enoch shopping centre and Vue Cinema just behind the Penthouse. Westend would be 10mins drive and Hydro , Sec , Pacific Quay, BBC , just 5 mins.
Dishwasher was there but not enough cleaning tablets. Some extra sets of keys would have been more appreciated as we were a family of 3. We only got one :(
We would be definitely back next time and hope to get some extra sets!
Food deliveries were easy from Waitrose or Asda. There was a Tesco close to the Penthouse
