Sunny apartment in heart of Nice Old Town

We had a very pleasant stay in this apartment. The location is great — right in the city centre and close to everything. The windows are very good, and when they were closed, we couldn’t hear the noise from the street at night. Excellent contact with the owner. Thank you very much for letting us check in earlier. We were travelling with two small children, and on a very hot day we could enter a little earlier, even though Annie was still finishing the cleaning after the previous guests. Cold water and chilled wine were waiting for us in the fridge, which was a very nice touch. The apartment also has a washing machine (I recommend bringing your own laundry capsules), a hairdryer and an iron.

Aiir conditioning. We stayed in another place in Nice and the AC worked much better there. Here, on very hot days, it made the temperature bearable, but it was not very comfortable. The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. We knew this before booking, so it was not a surprise, but it can be difficult for older people or families with children.

The location is this properties biggest selling point. It is right in the heart of the old town, beside delicious restaurants and cafes, near a lovely square with ice cream and very close to the beach. It was clean and well presented and well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen (including basics like salt / pepper / oil / tin foil / etc) and iron / hairdryer, towels, etc. The rose wine on arrival was a nice touch.

The stairs are a workout but not unmanageable (if able bodied). Worth it for the location! It was very warm - there was thankfully an air conditioning unit but it was not very powerful. The fans in the bedrooms helped.

Location is really good. Appartment is big and clean. Beds are comfy.

We stayed Friday-Monday and first 2 nights the noice from the nearest restarants and bars was terrible - all night till 4:00 in the morning we could hear the constant screaming and at 6:00 there were garbage trucks already. The closed windows were not helping at all. The only more or less comfortable night was Sunday-Monday. You need to be ready for a lot of stairs to reach the appartment in the building.

Great location but extremely noisy right through until morning. 8 flights of stairs an ordeal with luggage, especially for people with mobility issues. Close to the water and the evenings were spectacular while sipping our Aperol!!
