A lovely slice of French country life. The owners were very welcoming and had a friendly dog of their own and so our two dogs loved running and chasing him around the garden. One of our dogs is a bit yappy and we were worried that this may cause trouble but the host was fantastic and didn’t complain. The property is in the middle of nowhere so do buy some provisions before you go. There was a large fridge and microwave if needed. The property is in a refurbished farm building and on first glance looked like a row of 4 gites but actually it was the whole building , three large rooms plus shower room and wc.
In the morning we ate a lovely breakfast provided in the owners farmhouse. We were travelling down to Angouleme and this was a great halfway stop. I will definitely be staying again .

The property was peaceful in the country and close to visit St. Ceneri. We found the apartment very old fashioned and a bit depressing. The bed was not comfortable. The breakfast was good.
