Lovely welcome from reception & very helpful as gave us a ground floor room, which was perfect for our dog and access to our car parked right outside the room.
Everything was as expected from a B&B hotel - basic but comfortable

Nothing… it was exactly as described

Receptionist was very friendly and had a good sense of humour.
We were able to park right outside our room, which was great as we had to leave things on the back seat.
The room was really clean and we were able to adjust the heating.
There was a lift, which was helpful when carrying luggage to the 2nd floor.
There was a supermarket nearby and it was easy to get onto the motorway to continue our journey.
The lift was rather damp.

Very convenient as a stopover in N France. Pet friendly and good breakfast.
Lack of evening food options as the hotel is in an industrial park although there are places to go a short drive away.

Convenient
Room access after 2pm all standard before then is difficult the automated machine for on the spot booking or getting your designated room number and access code will not start to work until 2pm before that only reads “Off Line”

Breakfast was a good selection, and plentiful
Toilet could have been a little cleaner, and as usual in French hotels thin single ply toilet paper

Really good location not far off the motorway so handy for an overnight stop on the way to the south of France. Rooms were clean and shower was very powerful. There was a buffalo grill right next door but we didn’t eat there.
Basic room, no kettle or hairdryer etc but that wasn’t really a problem for us.

Location is great next to highway
In the middle of the night (01:00) the hotel staff came knocking on the door!!! In the morning they told us that they made a mistake with booking.

Good location. Quadruple room with mezzanine floor meant our teenager had some privacy.
A kettle would have been handy.

Parking, reception manager/staff and room. All good.
Location- but difficult to improve once you have built a hotel !!!

Car parking was good, there were spaces and the hotel was easy to find. There was a restaurant one minute walk from my room which was very convenient although the food was rather poor and very american orientated.
I arrived at the hotel about 16h00 to find the reception closed. I had to use an automatic ticket machine to check-in. The next morning I walked to the reception area and asked the receptionint if I could have breakfast. He told me that I cound not! It was only 9.44am and I could see a basked of croissants to my right and about 10 people sitting at tables having their breakfast. I asked if I could just have a coffee but he sayd NO and pointed to an automatic coffee machine in the center of the reception area. So I walked up to it, paid near 3 euros and out popped an instant coffee with no sugar. Not a very pleasant way to be greeted at this hotel especially as this was my only interaction with any of the staff since my arrival.

Be easier to say what did not like, it’s 2025 and how can any chain get away with this level of room! I even booked a room for 4 even though only 2 hoping it be ok! Wrong!
Car park is ok and opposite a Buffalo grill that’s not changed there menu in past 20 years
Bathroom can best be described as being in a cupboard… I mean it’s so small it’s utterly ridiculous, the shower is in what can only be described as worlds smallest bathtub it’s about 1/3rd size of standard tub and a half hanging down plastic curtain, it’s shocking, plus no where to even put a bar of soap
Air con is like out the Ark, makes lots of noise but no cold air and it was 22C outside when we stayed so room was unbearable, you can open the window, but then you have to put up with lots of noise and I mean lots from other guest all standing out on landings smoking!
Hardly any room around the bed, no room even for your luggage, no bed side shelf, old carpeted floor…got to be one of the poorest hotels I stayed in recently and I stay in a lot, about 120 nights per year!

Despite the online description, there did not seem to be a member of staff on site. For a couple of hours after midnight there was lots of people making a noise in the car park with cars and motorbikes. From the sound of their coming and going it seems that the ‘secure’ car park was left open. The bed was very uncomfortable. The breakfast was very poor. The bacon was barely cooked and, along with the scrambled egg - which was not too bad - it was barely warm.
We have stayed in B&B Hotels before including the one at Bolougne which is very good. If that was a 10, this was a 4.

The location was easy to find, check in is easy and we parked near the room. The room was clean and is ideal when traveling with a dog. The bed was firm and comfortable we asked for extra pillows and they were in the room
There’s no kettle but this is usual when traveling in EU

Very hard beds, hotel was full with a lot of workers that stood outside the rooms talking and smoking until quite late

We arrived at 3.30pm. As is often the case at B&B hotels, Reception was not manned until the evening but there was a self check-in machine. We had booked in advance for room and breakfast, but there was a typewritten notice posted up stating that breakfast would not be available next morning before 7.30am (usually 6.30). This was not satisfactory to us because we must leave early to reach our ferry back to England. The auto check-in does not allow alterations. You pay for your stay as booked and are given your key code or else you stand outside in the wind until the staff arrive. Naturally, I paid the bill as originally booked. That evening, I went to Reception to ask if I could get a refund for the breakfast but the staff member spoke no English and my French (learned long ago as a schoolboy) was not sufficient. We left early the next morning, hungry and thoroughly annoyed by a hotel which reduced its service after the guest had booked and without notice. B&B sent me multiple emails before my arrival, including one that very day. Why did they not tell me about the change in breakfast time and give me an opportunity to amend my booking.
