Great place to stay while driving across France

Very functional room design and layout and in reception and eating area.

Good value overnight stop

For an overnight stop on a long journey it was fit for purpose and we will probably use it again. The location to the motorway was perfect and access and parking was good. Staff were helpful and to me it is a ‘motel’ rather than ‘hotel’. The event restaurant was closed but breakfast was good and fresh.

We arrived around 5pm and the restaurant was closed unfortunately and there was nothing to do before bedtime. A motel not a hotel but priced appropriately and good value

Very nice room, comfortable bed, perfect for dog as on ground floor with own exterior door on to grassed area. Dinner and breakfast both very good. I would definitely recommend for a stopover.

Website says air conditioning, but actually only a heater. The room was very hot when we arrived. Slightly misleading as I always check for air conditioning when travelling with my old epileptic dog as it’s important he doesn’t over heat.

Breakfast stopped at 9 on a weekday which felt a bit early. The bed was brilliant but quite tight on one side of the room with the TV on the wall a slight hazard!

It was surprisingly comfortable in the room. And it had a bath! Much nicer than it first appeared. It’s basically a motel. Food was ok

I found the staff unfriendly and quite off putting. I think Campanile is a chain a bit like Travelodge. But compared to other budget experiences it was good value.

It was good, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. The location on the industrial estate was fine, it was only an overnight stop. Not really suited for a longer stay in our opinion. Dinner in the dining room was excellent too. The fact there was free parking right outside our ground floor chalet was really great.

Probably only the location as it was a bit run down and grubby outside. But once inside it really didn't matter at all. Very comfy. Kettle, coffee.... ☕😊
