A good, clean, value for money hotel with great owners for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Private, secure on-site parking was fantastic and our hosts were great. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Lovely terrace and garden to relax in in the evening too.

Great place to visit, clean, friendly & welcoming. Some beautiful historic buildings.

We have stayed there several times, it’s easy to find with parking on the street or secure parking in the rear garden. It’s a short walk into the centre of Alencon, where there is usually a lovely market taking place. The owners are well organised and pleasant. Breakfast is great. I was especially pleased this year as our room was air conditioned, great after a long drive.

Wish I had more time to stay in Alencon, it’s charming & friendly place, I had a bit of bartering with the stall holders whilst buying some items for my wife.

The area across the road from the hotel giving access to the railway station had a grass area where we took our dog for

The location was okay. Close to the motorway and close to walking distance to restaurants.

We arrived in Alencon at the hotel in external temperatures of 2° when entering the room we felt immediately it was cold and there was a tepid heat from a old-fashioned radiator. It found it difficult to get warm in the room and made a formal request to the reception to ask for the temperature to be increased. Unfortunately, despite being told the situation had been dealt with for a second time the radiator still was not working and only seemed to increase in heat after 1 am in the morning.

Great value - would definitely recommend!

We first stayed at the hotel around 5 years ago, and this time the welcome was just as warm as the last time. Super friendly reception and happy to accomodate our request for rooms close together for our kids. We had car trouble when we arrived this time and the hotel very kindly agreed to let us leave our car in their enclosed car park for the week while we arranged alternative transport. The breakfast is great and staff couldn't be friendlier.

Charming hotel with its own character. A far cry from the regular chains.

Slightly odd that there was no reception service on arrival, but the instructions were clear and worked well.
