The bed was very comfortable and everywhere was clean. The bathroom was quite big and well equipped.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful
The car park was very small, I have a large car and had to park it sideways across 2 bays.
The furniture in the room was old and liked like items my grandparents would have owned

Clean and comfortable. Very helpful concierge.
Noise carried through the walls. We clearly heard people talking in the room next door. At first thought they were standing under our open window!

Clean, comfortable bedroom. Off street parking.
Tiny shower room. Anyone with bigger than size 7 feet will struggle to use the toilet.
Breakfast was a joke. 3 hard rolls and a warmed up pain au chocolat. There is a boulangerie over the road so save your money and get breakfast there instead.

The central location was excellent . It was perfect for my stay as I am walking the GR22 and want cheap accommodation.
It wasn't open when I got there and I had to ask locals to ring the host for me. When I tried to phone all I got was a message in rapid French that I couldn't understand.

Pet-friendly and functional hotel with a kind host who stayed up to welcome us when we’d been delayed en route. Safe, off-street parking was very welcome and a nice breakfast.

It was clean and comfortable.
We couldn't get into the car park so had to find alternative parking. The hotel was on a very busy junction and was noisy.

Not much.
An awful experience. Down to the miserable rude hotel manager/owner who made us feel extremely unwelcome from the offset. He had advertised his hotel on booking.com as being dog friendly, but when we arrived made us feel terrible about having a dog with us and proceeded to whip out his calculator to tell us how much extra we had to pay. He had zero people skills and was rude and arrogant to us on multiple occasions during the time we were there. Shame because otherwise the hotel was clean and well decorated. Although our room was tiny and next to a noisy main road. Even besides the rude welcome and bad atmosphere it was way too expensive for what we got. Would definitely never go here again. I would recommend avoiding at all costs.

Breakfast was fine. Room for just 1 to 2 bikes in the boiler room.
Location not particularly great.

Three star is pushing it. Realistically one or two stars for facilities. Bathroom very cramped and bed was hard to out tastes. However it was spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and a good continental breakfast. It’s position is easy to find and it is a convenient 15 minute saunter from the attractive city centre and good restaurants.
Small bathroom and hard bed
