A unique experience to stay on a tiny island with only a handful of other houses and businesses, with spectacular mountain and maritime vistas all around. Coming to Lofoten in April before the hoards of people in summer was a delight; we even lucked out on having beautiful weather. The basement rooms share a well-equipped common eating area. Since we were the only people occupying one of the three basement rooms, we had the place to ourselves.
There are a set of steep stairs to negotiate with heavy luggage to get down to our basement rooms was a challenge. It seems that a paved path across the level garden lawn would be a relatively easy, and much safer, solution.

The rooms were very, very clean and spacious. The common space was amazing as well. Kitchen amenities were extremely helpful. The check-in process was very easy. Decor was cozy and fit the vibe. It was clear the owners worked hard to make this a memorable experience!
