The Tide - Hotel

the location is excellent. I was even able to see the northern lights from the hotel parking lot, which was a wonderful surprise. The room and bathroom were spacious, the breakfast was also very good and generous, and the rooms had good soundproofing, so it was nice and quiet at night.

About a month before my stay, I had an unexpected situation and contacted the hotel to ask if it would be possible to cancel my reservation with a refund. Unfortunately, this was not possible, so I had to reorganize my trip. I do appreciate that the hotel was willing to help by allowing me to change the reservation dates. That said, I feel that perhaps there could have been a little more flexibility in this situation. Since I gave a month’s notice, I believe there was a reasonable amount of time to potentially rebook the room, especially in a destination with such high tourist demand. I understand that there are policies in place, but I would have appreciated a bit more flexibility given the circumstances.

Location away from Reine crowds but close enough to get there easily.

Our room was not cleaned very well (dirty coffee cups upon arrival, floor not vacuumed, no closet space for a 4 day stay).

Very modern and nicely designed hotel with charging onsite

The twin is a nothing town really. Just its location is fantastic

Outlook from the restaurant is beautiful

No option to open a window to get fresh air into the room. Expensive for what the room had on offer . No fridge in the room. Breakfast was very basic . Not value for money
