A short, cozy stay with lovely staff and a nice breakfast.

We checked in late but the staff was lovely at breakfast, wish we could've stayed here a little longer. Breakfast was also lovely. Decent, tidy room.

Shower area had an odd design, there was a lip on the floor I'm guessing to attempt to keep the water in the shower from spreading through the bathroom, however this mainly just meant that water that did inevitably get outside the shower was unable to reach the drain. Not a big issue but little bit of a strange design.

Beautiful accommodation halfway up the peninsula

The house is very nice and in a good location within the islands. The room is clean and true Norwegian style. The breakfast was plentiful and had a large selection. I can only recommend it to everyone.

I’m really happy I chose this place for my base for Lofoten travels

I like the central location, everything is super close, easy to get to, additional bonus was the parking for guests while whole Hennigsvaer is a non parking area. I like how the personnel cared for me not to get bored by breakfast as I was there for quite a while and they provided additional options for me to choose from. Food at the cafe was excellent too!

Very friendly host, convinient location and excellent breakfast .

Love this property, the host is really nice, the late checking process is smooth , the breakfast is the best out of our trip. We have enjoyed the delicious desert the host packed for us on the beach , have already recommended to friends.

The sign of the building is not very clear to late comers in the night .

It is a great location to stay and a beautiful town. We really enjoyed out short visit and would love to return again.

It was in a great location and central to the town centre. Breakfast was very good with a great variety.

Our room was very hot (normally a bonus but it had been an exceptionally hot day) and I later found that I could have borrowed a key to open the windows. Not being accustomed to 24 hour daylight, there was a small window in the room without a covering that bothered us.

I had the best stay here! The location is perfect, walking distance to everything and right by a bus stop. The staff are really friendly and the breakfast was exceptional - such a lovely spread! They even left a cookie in my room as a welcome.

Wonderful place in Lofoten!

This was one of the prettiest places I have been to, both in Lofoten and in general. First of all there's parking which is very useful considering there's no plenty of room around for guest cars. Second, there's a bar within the building with great food and drinks - served by a very helpful and enthusiastic staff which is also ready to help you if you have any questions. Last but not least, the room: very spacious, with a desk, comfy bed, chairs, and a large bathroom with heated floor and quality products available. Best of all, the building seen from outside deserves a picture in itself being incredibly pretty looking! Good central location at a reasonable price overall, with WiFi working great. Definitely worthy!

Nothing I can think of in particular... Maybe the breakfast, don't expect the usual hotel selection, you will have a standard plate served for you directly - if you are a picky eater beware I guess!

The location is good! The bus stop is just next to the guesthouse. The instruction to enter the guesthouse was very clear. Room and bathroom were both heated. Breakfast was wonderful!! 👍

A great stay at Henningsvaer

We were in a room with great views towards the village plaza. The room was spacious, with sofa, dining table, but the bed was a little narrow. It was clean, quiet and reasonably comfortable. There were power points on both sides of the bed, with little tables. The bathroom was well equipped with thermo mixer, good countertop and clothes hooks. The breakfast was really well thought out, with each person getting a basket of breakfast goodies at your table. Good coffee. The staff were all very nice, and even helped us with some laundry. Of course the location was very special and one of the reasons we came all the way north. It was worth it.

The shower stall floor felt slippery like it could be scrubbed. The bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan, just a vent, so steam built up. That's all.

Great location, super breakfast.

Self-checkin was no problem. Received accurate information and was always well informed. Free coffee and tea in the room. We're welcomed with cookies from the bakery below. Breakfast was awesome. Free parking behind the house. Quiet and great location in the middle of town. Possible to explore everything on foot. Everything is done with passion and as a customer it's nice to feel that.

Bed was a little soft, small and little space left and right to get out. But we slept well nevertheless.

Great location, plus parking. Easy late checkin. Comfy bed. clean room. Amazing breakfast and staff is wonderful. We hang out in the cafe in the afternoon waiting for our ferry and staff let us stay until they closed and even gave us free cakes.

Beautiful guest house in the middle of Henningsvaer. The staff were brilliant, when we mentioned we had to leave early to catch a ferry, they made us up a breakfast to go which was so kind. I'd highly recommend a stay here!
