Excellent personal service despite adverse circumstances (repairs to the water system).

The hotel's water system was undergoing repairs, so the staff made an effort to compensate with exceptional service. Breakfast was cooked for me individually. The staff also personally did my laundry. I was not charged for either of these items. The hotel manager made a real effort to make me feel comfortable despite the inconvenience of the repairs. I had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. It was a pleasant experience despite the adverse circumstances.

Everybody else is complaining the expensive breakfast. I think so too, it was a little bit expensive. But when you compare it to prices in other Lofoten hotels in high season it's not expensive anymore. And breakfast itself was good!

Clean and comfortable hotel but very few other guests staying

Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff when they are onsite. Good breakfast available. Car parking in front of the building. Beautiful scenery. Remote location. Hotel owns restaurant/bar offsite about 300 meters away, but no line of sight so unless you knew where it was it would be tricky to find. Small local shop available until 10pm.

No restaurant or bar available onsite. No TV in room. Staff leave premises around 3pm and need to use night entrance at this time. I was given key that didn't work however fortunately another guest was downstairs who let me in otherwise I'd been locked out of the hotel! There is nothing to do in the evenings due to the remoteness of the location. No other restaurants or bars in town.
