It is a beautiful place to stay. You can tell they put a lot of love into the apartments. We stayed in an apartment in the second row. While you don't get the amazing lake view from your window, its only a few steps out of the door to look out from the dock. It was very warm and comfortable inside the cabins, it had everything we needed and it was very clean.
The breakfast was delicious, though there was a smaller spread on our second day because of the low number of guests.
Next to the reception there are 2 chargers for electric vehicles, more then enough in the winter but spots are limited if all cabins are full in the summer.
Overall its an amazing place to spend your time, the staff is very accommodating and having northern lights both nights we stayed here made everything even more perfect.

The accommodation is quiet and overlooks the water. The apartment is well equipped and has a wonderful atmosphere. The breakfast is also central. Friendly staff and a rich breakfast with a wide selection.

The cabin was really cozy and the breakfast was good with many options
Dinner at the restaurant seemed a bit expensive

We like the room, very spacious, nice kitchen with everything we need. Clean.
I just wish there are more light fixtures because the downstairs is not bright enough. Also the sautéed potatoes are EXTREMELY salty, I don’t know how someone can take even a bite

Good location and comfortable stay. Incredible breakfast
Kitchen is too small with only two burners but cannot complain too much. We were able to cook for us with no issues.

This feels like the perfect mix between boutique hotel and self catering glamour. The staff were lovely, breakfast was an absolute treat and the apartments are well equipped for a comfortable family stay.

Nice cabin, compact but had everything we needed. Quiet and peaceful location but close (10 mins) to Svolvaer town centre. Easy parking. We did some laundry which was straight forward and reasonably priced (60 NOK for 1 load). Helpful staff
Quite small bedrooms and not much room for luggage if all beds were being used. Average breakfast - we got there about 9am on the two days we ate it and some food was finished/cold. Quite a quiet area, far from other built up areas although there is some building work going on nearby - need to drive if you want to eat somewhere different that the hotel restaurant. Less luxurious that we were expecting

Charming rorbuer with a fantastic view and an excellent breakfast.
The only downside was that the room couldn’t be completely darkened.

everything was great! every single staff was kind and helpful. the place was gorgeous and hopefully the new massive museum that it's being built very close by won't spoil the magic atmosphere which surrounds this place now.
i was not able to get a cabin overlooking the water. unfortunate.

Property was beautiful and just like the pictures we saw online. Staff was very friendly and so was the wait staff in the restaurant. We did pay to go to the sauna, and we enjoyed that very much.

The place was super comfy, we loved it so much that we wanted to prolong our stay indefinitely. Everything was perfect in the cabin and the place surrounding were amazing.
The breakfast have limited vegan choices but having a kitchen was very easy to remediate.

Very nice location, near the seaside. Has good view to catch aurora in the late evening. Breakfast with good spread. The hotel is so generous, guests can take away some food from the table. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you!
Nothing at all 😍

Whole hotel and rorbus were nicely decorated, very stylish. We loved the book Lofoten Vibe in our rorbu - learnt a lot of interesting facts.
Breakfast was delicious, brownie was outstanding!
As it isnt on the cheapest side you would at least expect jacuzzi and sauna to be included in the price. But you even pay separately for jacuzzi and for sauna.

Charming cabin located in a beautiful area. Cabin is very comfortable for 4 of us.
Blocked view because our unit is on the second row.

Each cabin was cosy even in -10C as we had overnight.
Well set up for hanging cold weather gear
Main Reception and Restaurant building beautifully decorated with old world fishing gear
Single beds were up a narrow stairway which was difficult to use at night for a call of nature.
There were 2 per each bedroom which was OK for the two of us but a bit tight for 4

Breakfast was wonderful, enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the restaurant. The clouds were low and there was fog so we only got to enjoy the view on the first night. Kitchen is stocked with the basic amenities, took a moment to understand the stovetop but figured it out! Loved being able to scan the coffee table book (Lofoten Vibes) in the living area, loved that a grocery store was less than a 5 minute drive away and the museum and aquarium and gallery are literally a quick stop next door. I enjoyed learning the fisherman village history that is right on site.
I did have some questions ahead of my stay about outdoor activities well in advance. The hotel responded to inquire closer to our stay. When I did that, the response time was a bit slow, which made it harder to plan for activities in our short stay in the area. I communicated through booking.com messaging, maybe I should have gone directly to the hotel? At any rate, weather foiled our plans at the end of the day, so nothing was ultimately lost.

it is near a main road , easy to visit.
only one toilet room for 2 bed room house

Very quiet with nice views from the cabin. I asked at reception if they could organise the aurora Borealis and it was provided on the second night at no extra charge. 😉
No restaurant facilities on-site during our stay, Tuesday and Wednesday night, other than breakfast. Off season? Bedside lamps located directly above the pillows, literally, on two of the beds so had to move pillows to the other end and move the beds slightly resulting in foot lights.

Excellent, well-equipped yet cozy cabins just 5 mins by car/15 min walk from Kabelvag and 10 mins by car from Svolvaer. Huge selection of high-quality food at the buffet breakfast. We also highly recommend the buffet dinner - great quality and good variety for a very reasonable price when you consider the prices at regular restaurants, and they change their menu daily. Also, don’t miss the aquarium/gallery/museum that is literally next door - especially worth seeing the seal feeding at 12 and 3pm. Finally, make use of the hot tub and sauna package, followed by the relaxation space - it’s again a good price for great views and top facilities.

Cozy, spacious, clean and warm cabins in front of the water. We even saw Northern Lights from our windows. Rich breakfast and spacious parking place.
We had everything we could ask for 😃

Location, nice view, washer and dryer on site, spacious cottage, coffee machine, coffee pods & packs, kettle, variety of tea bags, sugar, shampoo, body wash, hand soap, and hair dryer were provided; breakfast basket; hot tub on site but i didnt use it
Super slow wifi (5/5 Mbps), outdated kitchen and furniture, no dishwasher (I found cups, forks, etc were not properly cleaned), uncomfortable beds because of low ceiling and tiny size (my hubby fell off the bed), drainage in the shower was a bit clogged. I would recommend staying at newer and modern Rorbu.
