Excellent location. Very comfort bed. The access code was sent to me before hands, so it's very easy and quick to get in the room. As a budget option, this hotel is not perfect, but it provides all necessary amenities for a short stay.

The cleanness can be improved. There are stains on both the desk and chair.

clean & spacious room!

location - very near the centre parking - there's a wide public parking area right in front of the hotel room size - it is very spacious, can easily fit 2 queen beds and more check in / out - we managed to check in early as the room was ready communications - unmanned hotel but can reach their staff via whatsapp

utensils - didnt have basic utensils provided, eg. teaspoon - provided PAPER cups, but we stayed 2 nites x 2 pax, and they only provided 2 paper cups for the whole stay toilet rug - didnt have any floor / toilet rug, so everytime after shower, we had to walk around with wet feet

Good Svolvær hotel, need paper cups in the rooms!

Great location, awesome shower, code access worked fine, comfortable room and we appreciated the fridge and kettle, but there were no paper cups in the room..

No paper cups in the room or bathroom, this must be one of the few hotels in the world that does not provide this basic necessity.

Easy check in.

Whilst the room was clean it lacked simple amenities like glasses. When we stayed the weather was warm but the room was unbearably hot. In a reception less hotel who do you ask for a fam (we were not alone in this judging by the number of windows thrown open)..The blinds let in light. The bed was scuffed and torn. The lights on the stairs to the 4th floor were out for the 3 days of our stay.Never before have we been driven from a hotel by discomfort at 7 in the morning.to sit on a bench outside. The overall experience was unpleasant..

OK hotel, but remove the smell

It worked well for what it is; a self check-in reasonably priced hotel without breakfast. The bed was fine, room had refrigerator for your food and size of room and bathroom was good. It had a nice wiew to the port.

The bathroom in room 411 had a terrible smell from the shower drainage. You could smell it in the bedroom too, really unpleasant. No TV.

Svolvær is a good midway to go down south if short of time.

The hotel is easy to reach from the bus stop near Extra supermarket. (If is not icy). can to walk to the Eye of the North and church and REMA 1000. Very near ferry terminal. A short shopping street. Nice small town.

unable to describe my experience with only one sentence...

message to the staff, thank you so much for offering solo travelers as myself an affordable chance to see this wonderful place and the amenities that this room was equipped with, were exactly what I needed for my stay at Svolvær. This town is like a dream. I also like to defend some of the complaints that I've read, nobody is really inconsiderate. It seemed to me that you need to slam the doors firmly shut so did the entrance doors as the springs in them were really firm, it's not because I did that deliberately. I was absolutely unlucky with the weather, only a few hours away before total summer drought in this part, but when it was chucking it down here it will simply start to smell like a pair of wet Wellies. just don't forget about that

the codes, you know what happened that day, if you know you know, absolute horror if you don't have a place to stay the night, but if you are really out of luck, you can try to sleep inside the ferry terminal waiting room. It seemed to be heated, has benches and a public convenience

Reasonable tranzit solution

The services offered by the hotel were as expected. Clean. Large spaces (the room and bathroom). Cooler for drinks & foods. Easy check-in. The hotel is situated near the center (with terraces and restaurants) of the city. You have public parking (using EasyPark app) in front of hotel. Svolvaer is the point of start for Floya Hike.

No basic bathroom items (shampoo, shower gel, soap). No glasses for water / juice. Very limited spaces public parking. Another cheap parking, Svolvaer Sentrum 8055, situated at 300 meters.

I didn’t find any breakfast

The access code to the entrance is meant to end with a hashtag # so I attempted several times to get in as the code given did not indicate the hashtag #️⃣ Then the street name was also confusing… in the end I went to the other Fast Hotel and realized this was not the right one … then back to the Svolvaer one… I added the Hashtag and then I managed to get in … The Room on the other hand did not require a Hashtag… Then again this morning I was struggling to get in with my access code…but after several attempts it finally worked ..Extremely frustrating and confusing….
