Milan Retreats Cadorna Duomo

Location is great, right besides the Malpensa Express exit, if you travel from the airport. M1/M2 line 2 min walk. Check in is so easy. They gave me clear verbal + video guidance, and the appartment is towards the building inside which make it so quiet for sleep. Every 2 days they changed our towels and picked up garbage. Service lady texted me in every morning to make sure we are all right which makes me grateful. The sofa bed that our kid sleeping is big enough. Kitchen equipments are also sufficient that we managed to cook few meals during our 4 nights stay. Brilliant!

Nothing to be compliant about, just few little things to mention: - the wall to our neighbor is not 100% sound proofing, and one night midway in our sleep around 2AM when our neighbor using their toilet, the water pipe sound is too much that forced me to be disrupted. - it is really not mandatory for the owner to prepare some basic i.e. sal, vinegar, saurce, oil for cook but since our appartment in Rome did have some, it helped us dramatically for the cooking. Here we can only use some extra energy on the supermarket to buy some. Nothing else. Overall 10 of 10 satisfied.

No breakfast included (which we already knew) but there were PLENTY of coffee capsules and a coffee machine ready to go. The location, pretty much just above Cadorna station, meant that there were many options for breakfast in the immediate area. The apartment was small but honestly, for our purposes of chatting in the evening after dinner (we were in town visiting a friend), sleeping, showering, and having coffee in the morning, it was perfect. AC works VERY well, the bathroom and especially shower were very nice, and overall it was a great experience also the way that Milan Retreats works and communicates.

Honestly, can't think of anything we didn't like! Maybe having a kettle and options for tea/infusion would have been nice, but honestly, that was not a big deal at all.

This was undoubtedly our best accommodation in Europe.

The location was good for us since we needed the train to the airport. Other than that it's around 10 min walk to the Duomo, which for us was ok, but in front of the hotel there were beggars and drunk people, which made us feel less safe. We have to say that the person who sent the messages on What's App was really nice and was trying to help. It was nice having complementary water, personal kits with toothpaste, tooth brush etc.

We had 2 rooms, one for a family of 4 and the other for 2 elderly people. In our room we had a bad smell which we complained about but the staff couldn't solve it, although they tried. The shower had a poor maintenance. In addition it was hard to open the door to the room, there was a problem almost each time we tried opening it. The beds in both rooms were terrible. We all suffered from back pains and couldn't get a decent sleep, which is the most important thing for us during a vacation.
