Cosy, comfortable stay

The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable and the pool facilities were nice. We used the pool and sauna which were great. Nothing was too much for the hosts which we really appreciated.

A fantastic short break experience, we were made very welcome.

Breakfast was freshly cooked with a choice of options. The hotel was a good base for us, walking and fishing alongside sightseeing and shopping. The hosts were wonderful, they gave us home from home welcome and we were greeted with champagne and chocolates (our mini moon). We would definitely book again, perhaps next time we will get the chance to use the pool and sauna!

It was okay

Not worth the money. We told them on day one we weren’t staying for 3 nights. No mention of a charge to use the EV charger. When we checked out we were charged £20 for not staying for 3 nights! (Saying this charge was from booking.com) We won’t stay again and won’t recommend it. Overpriced for room and location

Fantastic stay at a family run business

Lovely breakfast, flexible staff, accommodating the guests wishes and always offering a solution. Nice location almost on top of the hill, only a 15 to 20 minute walk from the town centre.

Room not as advertised yet still £108 , small, dark, no mountain view, window looked directly at a brick wall, no seating area , seems we drew the short straw on room allocation it was quite disappointing. Net curtains stained and dirty, kettle dirty and cushions splashed with dirty marks.

Could not find the beds comfortable. The floor was making lot of sound even walking. We had a family room which was big but dusty. No iron board, no water for drinking in the room.

Family room with living room, great space for 4 men travelling to TT with luggage. Breakfast was good, with plenty of options. Had a few drinks at the help yourself bar, great choice and very reasonable price.

The property was set in a beautiful location with stunning views the owners of the property where very friendly and welcoming the property has good size pool that both are grandchildren enjoy very much breakfast where fantastic lots of choice the family room we stay in had everything we needed we had a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend we will most definitely returning again

Large and comfortable beds and the fact they had heated pool

Sauna that we were told can not be turned up to 80 C, only the mere 50 C apparently. Whether it was a true or the owner did not want us to use it, I don’t know. Pool had a brown settlement around its base and sides which appeared to be easily cleaned (was going off with a rub of my thumb), but wasn’t. Kitchen directly above our room, which had a living room but naturally the sound travelled into the bedroom too regardless, which was spoiling the lovely large apartment. Notice on the wall, b’fast can be provided outside the hours, but when asked about it, this was denied. Despite the fact it was charged to us. So I suppose the lack of ‘can do’ attitude of the owners who run it in contrast to what they themselves advertise.
