Fin beliggenhet, sentralt i Alfama, deilig med aircondition i hvert rom. Utrolig bra støydemping i vinduer, ingen støy fra utsiden. Perfekt leilighet for meg + mine to barn

Litt upraktisk med åpent toalett/bad i ene soverommet. Det var heldigvis dør inn til toalett på det andre rommet

The location is excellent.

Everything the other guests complain about is true: the smell of sewage coming from the toilet, creaky floors, squeaky beds, and street noise. With a bit of imagination, telling yourself that you are staying in the oldest part of one of the oldest European cities, you might make the visit easier for yourself. Still, it is true that with just a little effort from the owner, the apartment could be much better. For example, it is nice to be able to enjoy a bottle of wine in the evening after a long day. The Portuguese are very proud of their good wine, but unfortunately, there are no wine glasses in the apartment. The Portuguese also like to point out that they are the world’s largest producers of cork, but there is no corkscrew in the apartment either. Bring your own glasses and corkscrew. Did you arrive by plane and your airline does not allow you to bring those with you? Then it might really be better to choose a different apartment.
