Our flight was diverted, so we were two hours late getting to the apartment, but the host was so flexible and friendly, with lots of tips for us! The location was PERFECT for us! All of Venice is pretty walkable, and being a little further away from the main attractions caused us to walk and see more of the city, and kept it fairly quiet. There were so many restaurants nearby, and every one we went to was delicious! The AC in the apartment was nice (but didn't work well in the bunk room), and the washer was a nice surprise! It was well-stocked and had plenty of space for our family of 5. There is no lift, but it's a quick flight of stairs to get to the door. Our favorite thing about La Colombina was the view! The front windows have beautiful views of a large canal with a gorgeous sunset, and I could never get tired of walking out of the building with the canal right there.

The air conditioning and Wi-fi didn't work well in the bunk room. The beds were just ok.

Great location, calmer part of the city, but near restaurants, and walking distance to the train station. Wonderful air conditioning during the summer heat wave

The trash rules in Venice are intense and you can’t leave any trash or there are a lot of rules to follow with how to discard it which isn’t the facilities fault but can be a lot to sort
