Rida Village Hotel Ksamil Island

La struttura è molto rilassante non sei nel caos di ksamil ma non sei neanche lontano dal centro.

Il bagno piccolo se proprio devo dire qualcosa.....

A quiet location away from big crowds. The room was very spacious and the breakfast very complete.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable. Staying for a few nights the wardrobe was to small. We wanted to unpack our suitcases but at the end we sort of left everything on the sofa that was in the room. Compared to the room itself that was very spacious, the bathroom was very small and outdated with no shelves to leave toiletries and no where to hang the towels. The car park was very small. Especially at dinner time when people that are not staying at the hotel come to the restaurant for a meal. We asked before arriving if we could pay by card. The told us yes, no problem. As we wanted to pay by card they told us there was an extra charge of 2,5 % on top of the amount to pay which they didn’t communicate to us before arrival. If we would have known we would have paid cash.

The environment, which translates into an olive-tree lined path leading to the rooms. The dining area was pleasant and the hosts were very welcoming. There was parking across from the accommodation.

Our room was very basic, quite small (a standard double with patio booked the same afternoon). It was also pretty dark given its location, with very little, or no, sun. The bathroom was very small and there was a wall dividing the shower from the toilet which got soaked! It was the smallest and most expensive room we had in 2 weeks in Albania. Although the breakfast was good (but so we're all the other ones we had), we felt it wasn't good value for money. We would have liked to eat there but it was expensive, as was the wine, on a par with good restaurants in Italy (where we live). I don't doubt the quality but it was expensive for Albania. And the music was loud and there was little lightning.
