Clean, resourceful and comfortable! Lovely high ceilings and windows.

Good location and sleep for a short stay in Bologna

The staff are very nice, friendly and gave us good suggestions where to go in the city. Location is also great, walking distance to the city centre. It's surrounded by nature and smells great with the blooming flowers.

The bathroom is a bit outdated, pressure from the shower is rather weak and the height of the showerhead cannot be adjusted because it is broken. The bed was very squeaky and noisy at the slightest movement. Pillows are also rather stiff.

Nice villa but with an inconvenient location.

The villa is beautiful Vith a nice garden and swimming pool.

The villa is located very far from Rive del Garda. You need a car to get there since walking is not a possibility. It’s hard to find anything to eat in the area which was inconvenient for us arriving after a long drive.

Very bad and never recommend

Difficult to find and no parking available, but the booking says parkings are available.

I arrived around 9pm and amazed that they asked for an additional "LATE CHECK IN" fee EUR 15 + EUR 4 tax = 19 EUR extra!!!

I do not recommend this place

the location was nice

although it is called a B&B there is no breakfast included nor available. I was not informed about this. The owner was also rude, did not speak english of french.

Very nice room but not a nice city to visit

Very clean and big room. Lovely staff

Curtains let all the light in they are not lined so wasn't dark at night time and very light in morning. Bologna was not a very nice place to visit. Most windows have metal bars and graffiti everywhere. Didn't feel that safe walking around like other Italian cities.

Exceptional

We found it with a second try but it was worth it. Beatiful rooms and magnificent bathroom, nice breakfast corner with microwave and cofee-machine. Everything very clean and cozy. Fishes in the fountain in the yard really impressed us.

Nice villa, room with MOLD. To be avoided

The villa was nice, located in a lovely part of town, even if it was further from the centre

The host doesn't speak English, asked us for the city tax money immediately at the accommodation. Breakfast is put in a hamper, with a slice of toast wrapped up, a cookie, a yogurt and a coffee capsule per person, plus a yogurt. And that's impertinently called a good breakfast. Plus, and worst of all, the walls of the room are wallpapered, and there's lots and LOTS of MOLD under the wallpaper. You can smell the MOLD as soon as you enter the room. Mold is very bad for your health, especially if you have asthma. Inhaling or touching mold spores may cause an allergic reaction, such as sneezing, a runny nose, red eyes and skin rash. Molds can also cause asthma attacks.

Garden, location. Good breakfast. Clean rooms and bathroom. Mini market and bar is not so far. 15-20min walking to the city center. Very polite and intelligent staff.

No parking, you should looking free place on the down street. By good luck after 45min we found the small parking place. Not easy to find the adress. The problem was with door locker but been solved immediately next day. Nobody speaks English unfortunately.

Nice stay

Large room in quiet location, about 20 minutes walk from the town centre. Bus stop nearby. Good choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt and pastries for breakfast.

It was on the other side of the town centre from the station. Would definitely recommend buying bus tickets in a tobacconists and taking the bus.

Exceptional

The hosts were super friendly and very kind. The room had a lovely view and high ceilings and fun decor, and the breakfast was filling and good even though they couldn't cook a hot meal due to COVID restrictions at the time of our stay. We got some helpful recommendations for activities from the hosts, and we had a memorable and wonderful time.

The location was great as we were visiting our daughter as she is studying here for 2 months and is staying close by. The gardens of the property are beautiful

The step into the room was a bit hazardous, the tiles were lose, needed repairing

Nice room, nice location, difficult parking and poor breakfast

We really like the bed and the shower; neighbourhoods is really beautiful and quiet; the room is big and nicely decorated.

The breakfast consisted of prepackaged pastries and a self service with muesli and biscuits, and there was almost no milk. Only one coffee cartridge per person (good quality though). We assumed there would be a parking spot available in proximity but it was not the case: the streets are very small and we found no parking spots in the proximity when we arrived.

Nice stay in Bologna in a welcoming atmosphere

Rivabella Hostel is located in a quiet side street, in walking distance (around 20 Minutes) from the city centre. It is a nice furnished and very clean hostel, with a nice little garden, where you can sit and also can have breakfast. The owners where very friendly and made big effort to make our stay as best as possible. I asked for vegan options for breakfast which they made possible for me. For a nice and comfortable stay in Bologna it’s highly recommendable!

Nice room in quiet area but we didn't feel welcome or comfortable there and were happy to move on

Once the booking was confirmed, we were asked to pay a 15 € penalty if we arrive after 6 pm. Absolutely impractical for our travelling, arriving around 8 pm. The host said he wanted to meet friends or go shopping in the evening. After some discussion, we didn't have to pay the penalty in the end. The place smelled very strongly of perfume. No garden view as in description, instead a wall infront of the window. The garden/patio was permanently reserved for the host's family. Breakfast served two days in advance. Coffee served in plastic cups. No fresh croissants/bread, only wrapped long-life bakery products, because of special covid-rules in Bologna, the host explained.

The hosts were very nice and helpful. The villa is in a quiet are, which I was looking for. And I loved the fancy shower with a radio 😊.

Outside communal area was very pretty. Basic breakfast laid out. Staff friendly Nice room

Shared bathroom meant there was a bit of waiting around in the morning for other guests to finish. Kettle and tea bags provided, but only paper cups. City tax was additional.

Exceptional

Loved our hosts! Always friendly and we shared a few laughs! We didn't speak Italian nor Duestch, and they didn't speak English or Polish, but nevertheless we communicated just fine with the help of good old Google Translate. They are lovely people! We felt like we were guests in their home and they surely treated us like that. If we ever return to Bologne, this is where we would want to stay! The walk into the town is not too long and goes along a very pleasant road. Watch out because the roads are thin and the drivers come from every direction! The walk in the other direction, if you take the winding road up to the Fort or Church will lead you into some greenery, beautiful. And there is a little path through the bushes and a greenbelt. Disappointment

Room size Bed size

Very noisy from 5:50AM to 7AM. On a paper are breakfast from 7:30 to 10. Breakfast is a parody and I don't think this service should be paid for. The coffee machine did not work properly. You will receive a Lavazza capsule. First, the machine was stuck. The first capsule didn't work, the second made a cold espresso. Yum. I do not consider parking on a steep hill on a narrow public street as a parking criterion for booking. Communication in English was via Google translator

Disappointing

Relatively close to city center, quick self-check out, generous (packaged) breakfast

Bed was made of wooden packaging pallets, the room design somewhat tacky (matter of taste), the key to the room broke off in the lock in the middle of the night and we couldn't get out till the morning. The host was unresponsive u til much later, so we solved the problem by asking another guest to try their key on our door. Lo and behold, it worked.
