Great Time in Beaune!

This is a quirky and charming apartment. Walking distance to everything. Owner very obliging. No aircon, but we didn’t need it.

It was all good for us, however large people or those with compromised mobility would struggle with ladder to the bed/bathroom.

10 minutes from the centre, lovely patisserie over the road, Aldi not far. Convivial and helpful landlady. Her dog is friendly.

A GREAT STAY IN BEAUNE

This was a great stay in Beaune. Veronique is an amazing host. There was wine and jam on the table and butter, milk and juice in the fridge to welcome us. The accommodation was very homely which we love - much nicer than a cold hotel room. The bedroom and bathroom are located up a ladder in a cute little loft. We are both in our late 70's and didn't have any issues with this. The apartment is located just outside the city "gate" - about 10 minutes walk to the centre of the old town. We will certainly stay there again if we come back to Beaune.

A relaxing week in a cosy apartment in a beautiful town.

A characterful, nicely modernised, comfortable apartment in a quiet off-street location. Comfortable bed, warm (we had very cold weather!), nice shower. Beaune is a lovely town.

Not very keen on there only being a rather flimsy screen to separate the toilet from the bedroom.

Excellent choice for our visit to Beaune. A quiet restful apartment.

Charming 1 bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. Property has a courtyard and is set away from main road so is quiet and has a back terrace with lounge chairs. Bedroom is in the attic space, is spacious and tastefully decorated. Delightful owner.

The bathroom is open plan in the bedroom with the toilet door a moveable barrier. A minor detail, not really a problem.

I really enjoyed the unit and the location was very convenient.

The host was helpful. She showed me how to work the stove and gave a brief tour. I appreciated the provided coffee, juice and milk. The ability to use a bicycle was an added bonus. The unit was quiet and I loved the outdoor patio.

I had a fair amount of trouble getting the door to latch and lock. Fortunately, the entry was inside a locked courtyard so I felt safe enough.

Perfect for a stop over

Very nice place nearby the city centre, nice backyard in the fridge you will find milk and water and jam, nespresso machine with coffe and tea and butter so you nearly have a breakfast included. Very friendly welcome perfect we will be back next year.

Cosy, quiet apartment very convenient for centre of Beaune.

Compact little apartment just outside the centre of Beaune. On-street parking right outside. Very convenient for a short visit - nearby restaurant (La Ciboulette) has an outstanding menu at great value - avoid the tourist traps in the centre of the town at all costs. Toilet is very "en-suite" - situated in an alcove behind the shower in the sleeping area upstairs. OK, provided you are very comfortable with the other person(s) you're sharing the accommodation with! Stairs to sleeping area are very steep - no problem provided you have no mobility issues. Excellent communication with the host, Véronique.

Zeer goede communicatie met eigenaar. Prima gelegen. Fietsen stonden veilig op de binnenplaats. Kortom: een fijne verblijfplaats.

Für mich enttäuschend

Für meinen Betreuer und mich (87 Jahre alt) war die Wohnung leider nicht geeignet, obwohl sie gut möbliert war. Das obere Zimmer mit Bett war über eine sehr steile Treppe zu erreichen., Die Dusche in diesem oberen Zimmer mit Waschbecken, die Toilette lediglich durch einen Vorhang verdeckt. Das alles mag junge Leute nicht stören. beim nächtlichen Toilettengang während der eine und der andere doch sehr gestört gewesen und wir sind nach 1 Stunde Schlaf dann doch lieber weitergefahren. Schade, den Aufenthalt in Bonn, hatte ich mir anders vorgestellt und aus den Fotos waren für mich die tatsächlichen Bedingungen nicht eindeutig zu erkennen. Trotzdem danke, auch für die zwei Gläschen Marmelade!

bien placé, tout est prévu pour le petit déjeuner., il suffit de passer à la boulangerie à proximité. La propriétaire a répondu rapidement à notre demande pour le fonctionnement de la télévision. (Une notice serait bien venu, afin de ne pas vous déranger).

Les Toilettes dans la chambre séparés d'un paravent. L'escalier est un peu raide.

Un duplex très chaleureux. On se croirait dans une petite maison de campagne. Pleins de petites attentions qui agrémente le séjour ( beurre, jus de fruits, confiture, café, thé...) Une cours commune avec petit salon de jardin très agréable pour manger dehors. Aucun bruit malgré la proximité avec le centre ville

Le sanitaire qui n'est pas fermé Le coin salle de douche qui manque d'intimité malgré les efforts avec le paravent.
