Beautiful location

Wonderful stay here in the upstairs unit. Stairs are narrow, glad we had small suitcases. Very close to bus that takes you to Cinque Terre area within minutes. Lots of hiking trails very close that take you directly to 2 of the Cinque Terre villages. Owners of apartment are great and got to know them during our stay. They also have a small outdoor restaurant and convenience store just across apartment.

Bed a little too soft for us because we prefer a firm mattress.

Perfect location, improvements needed.

Volastra is an ideal spot for a chilled winter retreat. Very peaceful and surrounded by dramatic scenarios, yet very close to the Cinque Terre, well connected with a shuttle bus. We parked our car and mostly moved by public transport.

We found the flat cold and humid: it has been empty for a few days and, even if the winter weather is mild, heating was necessary. Heating wasn't initially working and the host assisted us for a good 24 hours. All this could have been avoided if they switched on (and tested) the heating system the day before. The apartment has great potential but could do with some maintenance: there was black mold in the kitchen and bathroom, the kitchen was plenty of utensils but some of them were in a poor state.

Great base for hiking in 5Terre

1) The location is perfect for hiking. The main path Riomaggiore - Monterosso is just 100m away. You can see amazing views of the sea and vineyard hills just 5 mins from the house. 2) Volastra is a quiet village comparing to the main 5Terre centres. However, it has a shop, a couple of restaurants and a regular bus connection with Manarola. 3) The house is fully equipped with all necessary amenities including free private parking ~100m away.

Just a couple of things to consider for future travellers: 1) It might be a challenge to reach Volastra with luggage and without your own transport. Consider taking a taxi. 2)The gas stove in the kitchen worked a bit weirdly. Having a lighter helps.

Adresse centrale que nous recommandons vivement pour randonner dans les Cinque Terre.

Nous avons passé 4 jours pour randonner dans les Cinque Terre et nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement si vous ne voulez pas dormir dans un des 5 villages en bord de mer. Le village de Vollastra est très central, la vue y est magnifique, le sentier pour Corniglia superbe et nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires qui ont un bar juste à coté dans lequel on peut se restaurer. La voiture peut être laissée au village pendant le séjour ( très pratique). Le logement est parfait pour ceux qui veulent cuisiner le soir. Vollastra est desservi par une navette pour aller à Manorola et le chemin des Cinque Terre passe par le village entre Manarola et Corniglia ( chemin douanier fermé). Merci à Andrea ( qui parle français) pour ses précieux conseils.

Apartamento muy completo en una excelente ubicación.

La ubicación es perfecta para realizar las caminatas por los senderos. El apartamento es agradable y tiene todo lo que necesitas para una estadía larga. Las instrucciones fueron claras y los anfitriones son amigables. El pueblo tiene buenas conexiones de buses, mercado y restaurantes.

Al entrar por primera vez al apartamento puede haber un ligero olor a humedad que se soluciona abriendo la puerta y las ventanas un rato, pero cuidado con los mosquitos en las noches.

ok, maar niet meer

Locatie was top, niet ver van de mooie dorpjes in de buurt

Appartementje was wel heel klein om met 5 personen in te vertoeven. De tuin was helemaal niet onderhouden, op de fotos zag hij er knus en gezellig uit, maar in het echt was hij vooral onverzorgd, veel onkruid, was niet uitnodigend om erin te vertoeven. Huisje was niet goed gekuist, onder de bedden lag opgehoopt stof en er hingen spinnenwebben in de badkamer, alsook was de badkamer verouderd en aan een opfrisbeurt toe

Appartement pratique pour découvrir la région!

Excellent endroit pour loger. La propriétaire a pris soins de nous expliquer dès notre arrivée les bons endroits à visiter et comment s’y rendre. L’appartement est fonctionnel et près de l’arrêt d’autobus, d’un mini marché, d’un restaurant et d’un parc intéressant autant pour des jeunes enfants que des ados (modules de jeu, terrain de soccer / tennis). La propriétaire gère un petit restaurant délicieux et abordable. Nous avons dégusté et acheté des bouteilles de vin de leur vignoble.,

Sehr herzlicher Empfang. sehr hilfreiche und ausführliche Tipps von Andrea für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Andrea und Sandro waren stets hilfsbereit. Toll ist der Kiosk fűr ein Glas Wein und eine Kleinigkeit zu Essen.

Appartement correct et emplacement top

Emplacement au top, hôte vraiment très sympathique. Cuisine neuve et bien équipée. Petite terrasse agréable et jardin commun avec barbecue, parking privé à proximité. Le propriétaire est aussi gérant d un bar à proximité du logement, endroit très agréable sous les oliviers.

Propreté et literie moyennes, sdb un peu vétuste mais logement globalement correct dans l ensemble.

Le calme du village,l'accueil personnalisé avec un peu de français, les conseils de ballades et autres, le spritz pris chez les propriétaires qui gèrent également un petit bar/resto. Appartement en rez-de-chaussée, très bien équipé pour la cuisine, très grand lit et grande chambre. Lave linge. Bien situé pour les cinque terre mais privilégié les transports locaux car peu de parkings et tous payants.

La hausse de la taxe de séjour réclamée à l' arrivée mais pas indiquée sur la réservation. Apparemment ça venait d' augmenter dans le village....nous n avons réglé que ce qui était convenu sur booking. Salle de bain un peu petite surtout la douche mais fonctionnelle. Les wc sont dedans ce qui peut être gênant mais on s'en accomode.

l'emplacement de la location pour les départs de randonnées..la navette qui passe à proximité pour nous descendre au 5 terres . la proximité avec les propriétaires qui sont très sympathiques. un petit espace pour manger dehors.

la télé ne fonctionnait pas..Pas grave pour nous car en italien... le parking privé un peu loin pour apporter les bagages.

Tranquillità e piccolo borgo molto caratteristico

Piccolo borgo tranquillo da dove partono le vie trekking per visitare i vari paesi delle 5Terre, servito di navetta per scendere o salire da Manarola. Appartamento con un'ottima cucina servita di ogni utensile e piccoli elettrodomestici. Ottimo riscaldamento vista la giornata di pioggia e quindi temperature più fredde. Servito di biancheria da letto e da bagno. I proprietari presenti con a fianco il Chiosco del Sole dove c'è la possibilità di fare aperitivo oppure mangiare pranzo o cena all'aperto. Posto auto privato all'esterno del borgo a meno di 100mt dalla casa.

Logement vieillot dans un village mignon

Village sympathique avec jeux pour enfants

Compliqué de trouver le logement en arrivant, il faut savoir que les clés sont au bar des propriétaires. Pas de clim, un vieux ventilateur qui fait des étincelles quand on le branche, volets/fenêtres cassés, pas vraiment de sécurité car la porte se ferme mal. Le parking est chaotique, à 200 mètres en montée dans un tout petit parking sauvage sous les oliviers, compliqué avec un 5008!

Plein les yeux

Emplacement idéal pour visiter les 5 Terres. Bus à côté du logement pou rejoindre Manarola et bateau ou train à Manarola. Sentiers de radonnées pour rejoindre les villages au départ de Volastra. Village au calme, vue à couper le souffle en empruntant le sentier direction Corniglia. Infos données par le propriétaire pour les visites et se déplacer dans les 5 Terres utiles et pertinentes. Logement bien équipé, lits confortables.

Petit, un peu juste pour 4. Logement idéal pour un couple mais à 4, nous nous sommes sentis à l'étroit, le séjour était court, donc ça a été. Le bruit de l'appartement au-dessus, on entend vraiment tout et quand on n'a pas le même rythme , c'est perturbant.
