The Goose House was a wonderful place to stay - close to station to get easy access to all the other villages. Spotless and just how the pictures show. Loved area outside to sit and listen to the little waterfall. Spacious and full equipped for all your needs. Would recommend to anyone.

We absolutely loved this place. It was almost like it was built into a cave, but the inside was so spacious and bright. It had everything that we needed a spacious bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and even a little porch to sit out and have our wine and cheese and prosciutto. It was literally straight up from the train station. We looked up and thought we had a long ways to go, but all of a sudden there we were at the waterfalls right outside the house ,we would highly recommend this place,there were only two of us, but it would be spacious enough for two couples for a short stay or a small family

Nice little cottage with a comfortable bed. The host was very helpful. The air conditioning helped with the chilly evenings and mornings.It is easy to reach if you come by train but it is up a steep hill. All the villages of Cinque Terre are easily accessed and I thought it was the best of the 5 villages to stay in- at the start of via dell’amore.

Location is very good. It's 2 minutes from the train station, yet you don't hear the trains. It's also away from the center of the village, so there aren't many tourists; only those who stay in the same area. The owner responded promptly and was very good. The unit is good, for the most part. It is showing some age, with some updating needed, but nothing bad. The mattress was old, or at least overused and not in a good shape. The towels are really over-used; worse than at cheap motels. I definitely think an investment is needed into new towels. We asked for better/newer towels on the first day and the owner provided. again, she was very responsive to our communications. The unit is advertised with parking lot. You need to be aware that the parking lot is not at the property. It's about 20 minute walk away or a short taxi ride away. I don't recommend walking with suitcases. the taxi is 15 euro, so not a big deal. One issue we had that we were leaving early in the morning 6:30 am and could not get a taxi for that early, so we called the taxi for the nigt before to take our luggage to the car and then just walked in the morning.

My husband and I and our two adult children had a fantastic stay here. Comfortable, clean and convenient. Easy check in and check out process. A very close 5 minute walk to the train, 6-7 min walk to the town’s main street and harbour, and very close to the restaurant with some of the best pizza we had in Italy. A great home base to hop the train and explore the towns of Cinque Terre. Host was very responsive to questions. I would stay here again. We travelled fairly light so the walk up to the property from the train station with our luggage was easy, if you have a lot of big pieces you may want to book a luggage taxi to bring your bags up.

Ilenia met us at the train station and walked us to the home. It is situated on a quiet street close to the action but early tucked away for quiet time. She also provided us with multiple discount cards to use at shops and restaurants around town. Finally, she sat us down and walked us through the train, boat, tour and hike schedules and options. It was a perfect home away from home. We cooked one of the nights and the kitchen is super user friendly. We loved the home and would definitely stay there again! -Agnes &Mike

Amazing Stay in Cinque Terre!

I spent three nights in the Cinque Terre property with my family of four and found the accommodations to be perfect. We had plenty of space to lounge around when we were tired from our hiking before heading out again in the evenings. The location is perfect in its proximity to the train and the rest of the town. The Bar at the station serves excellent coffee and pastries for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. We enjoyed Riomaggiore the most of all the towns for its casual and relaxed vibe. The trains were frequent enough to visit all of the towns in one day and were crowded during the day with visitors on day trips. We really enjoyed the quiet of the evenings. Ilenia was a wonderful host who met us at the station and walked us up the hill to the apartment. She provided a lot of information to get us started on our trip. We enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment and village and would definitely stay there again!

Perfect for a vacation in Cinque Terre. The appartment was nice and clean, and it had everything we needed. The location was perfect, only a two minute walk from the train station. Our host waited for us in the train station and gave us information and tips.

Good location next to train station without the inconvenience of hearing the train. Host was friendly and communicative. Room had a living area and bedroom that were open to each other without doors. One double bed that was daily comfortable and one pullout sofa that was not that was thin but good enough for two nights. Small bathroom that could use some hooks and more storage space. Tiny shower stall with good water pressure but grout could use harder scrubbing.. The suite is ground level so we found some garden bugs in the room and it could’ve used another coat of paint to make it look cleaner. Path lights outside and glass door equals to a room that isn’t dark enough for proper sleep. Overall it wasn’t the best condition or most comfortable place but if you are looking for a convenient location for a short stay this will work.

Ilenia was at the train station to meet us and showed us to the apartment, a short distance away. Admittedly it is uphill but not too bad. She was very helpful and friendly. The apartment is very spacious and fairly well equipped.The little yard is comfortable and was a great spot to have morning coffee or late afternoon drink. I would definitely stay there again.

This place is just moments away from the train station and is even more quaint than the pictures suggest. It is a small standalone cottage at the end of the road. We loved it and The hosts were fantastic - after we locked ourselves out on accident they were very quick to help us out and very nice about everything. Would 100% recommend.

Overall an excellent place to stay! Ilenia met us at the train station which is only 3-4 minutes from the apartment and gave us tips about Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre. Clean, comfortable bed, table outside the apartment to eat, quiet area of town. We loved it!

Very modern and clean. Enjoyed the patio after a long day. Only complaint is the entire town is very steep. Hard if you are doing lots of exploring. I would recommend staying in Vernazza if you can. Much more of a local feel and not so steep to go anywhere.

Great little apartment, which is conveniently located not far from the train. No steps are needed to get to it. The apartment is quiet, clean and has a small outdoor table, and had a place to hang wet wash if needed. The owner was easy to work with.

We stayed here two nights - a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The host was very friendly and organized. She gave us lots of information about how and what to do and provided us with some small discounts for a few local things as well. There is A/C, which we appreciated for sleeping when the days are so hot! Really liked the village as well - not as over run with tourists as some of the others along the train track. Clean, new and fully stocked - the only thing we were short of was toilet paper... Would highly recommend this host and apartment!

Ilenia took time to meet us at the train station, showed the apartment to us, provided us with discounts at local restaurants ... and most importantly showed us where to get the hiking trail to for the Cinque Terre hike to Monterroso. The trails between Riomaggiore and Corniglia were closed, so we took the alternate trail, which was definitely challenging - but worth it! The apartment is in a great location, is clean, safe ... we would stay again! So nice to have been so close to the train station!

We really enjoyed our stay in Riomaggiore. It was very close to the train station (2 minute walk) and the town had a couple of great swimming spots to utilize after the 25 km hike. The apartment had everything we needed for our short stay and slept 5 of us comfortably. The host was also very helpful with recommending where to get groceries and what restaurants to utilize.

Very clean Apartment with everything you need (other than laundry washer) but we didn't need it for the time we were there . The location in Riomaggiore was perfect for us. We only had a short time to see everything and this place was close to the hiking trail to Manorola and only 3 minute walk from the train station. The place was at the end of a street which was very quiet and right next to an awesome Creek that ran right out front of the apartment. Ilenia was awesome and met us at the train station and we walked to the apartment for her to show us everything we needed to know and gave us tips for seeing the Cinque Terre. Highly recommended this place as well as the Cinque Terre. A must see.
