Very friendly owner who helped greet us and show us the way as well as carry luggage which was very well appreciated. Room is minimal and economical, nothing fancy but that is expected for what was advertised. The room did the job and air conditioning was adequate given it was very hot when vacationing here. Bedding was adequate but not great. A bonus with the window provided a view of the water. Overall no major issues, and was adequate and served its purpose.

A great place in a great location. Very clean and the customer service and attention to detail are outstanding. We were told about numerous places to eat, shop, other things to do in the area. Helped us get to the room. Just great. The area is all walking with fairly steep inclines so make sure you’re up for it.

This guest house is amazing! The view is great and location is amazing in Riomaggiore, which after visiting all 5 cities I think is the best to stay in. Sandro and Andrea were both super helpful and gave us everything we needed during our stay. Andrea even met us at the top of the town and gave us a quick tour and showed us how to get to the room. Couldn’t have asked for a better place as a home base for our few days in Cinque Terre.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The best location in Riomaggiore in a lovely house just next to the port and small beach. The room had a beautiful sea view. It was clean and well equipped (coffee, tea, even a wine bottle opener, etc). Great and friendly service! We would definitely stay here again! Riomaggiore was our favourite town of Cinque Terre.

Andreas and Sandro were very kind, spoke English well, picked us up from train station, showed us around town. Nice rooftop apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, great deck overlooking Marina, and a kitchen and sitting room too. Great views at sunset and actually all day.

We had a lovely stay. The room had a wonderful view of the water from our window and an easy walk down to great restaurants. The staff picked us up at the train station and brought us to the property. Made it so easy.

Great location! Amazing customer service!! They went above and beyond any place we've ever stayed at before. They met us at the train station to bring us to our room and when we were running late the next day they headed to the train station to help us get to where we needed to go on time. The room was very comfortable with a nice hot shower and good water pressure. Very impressed that they had recycling bins in the room. We highly recommend this hotel!

The staff of this hotel called me earlier and waited for us at a train station, because it is a little complicated to get to the hotel. Once you got into the hotel, it was so wonderful. Yiu can see the ocean and hear the waves coming and going. The room was super clean and very cozy.

Smaller but very comfortable room in Riomaggiore. Beautiful view of the town and marina from the window. Staff met us at the train station and escorted us to our room (a short walk away). They helped us get our passes for walking the trails in the Cinque Terra and our pass for the via dell amore to Manarola. Owner and staff were very friendly, spoke english and were very enthusiastic to provide helpful information, recommendations and directions to insure we had a fantastic experience there.

We enjoyed our stay in Riomaggorie and Cinque Terre. This is such a great place to stay. We choose a bigger room that had a third bed, and we had great views of the water. The owners are very nice. While it does not include breakfast, there are groceries nearby to buy food. They have coffee and tea in the room. Will be back.

Came her in 2012. Booked now in Feb 2025 hoping it would Bea's good. YES! Easy walk from the train,right in the Port near restaurants, cafes, shops Rooms are lovely, stylish & comfortable. Excellent WiFi & showers, extra pillows & blanket, bar fridge, espresso machine, kettle and our room had a gorgeous view. Sandro & staff are so welcoming and helpful. Loved staying here this time even more than last time. GREAT place!

Great proximity to the marina and the train station. Unfortunately- we were there during the off season so half of the shops and restaurants were closed... which was a real bummer but even the restaurants that were open, didn't have a lot of patronage so I understand. We had a room with a view and the only bummer about it was that it was right next to the office which can be a little noisy during the day. Otherwise- the owners were great and the facility was very hospitable in meeting us at the train station. Would recommend!

The property manager Sandro was great; he was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was clean, compact, and very efficient. We stayed for 3 nights that included Friday and Saturday which were very loud nights because this apartment is right above a restaurant. The music and the screaming was very loud until at least 2AM on weekends.

Sandro and his brother are awesome hosts! He met us at the train and oriented us to Riomaggiore. After providing us with a brief orientation he helped with our luggage and showed us to our room. Our accommodations were exceptional and they were always available to answer questions. We would highly recommend a stay with Alla Marina.

The service was excellent. Owner met us at the train station and carried our luggage to the hotel. Hotel has a good location. Biggest issue for us was navigating the number of steps to/from our room. Room was quite small, not enough room to open our 2 suitcases. However, location and friendliness/helpfulness of staff outweighs the minor negatives.

A perfect location when visiting Cinque Terre. Close to train and meeting location for Viator’s Private Cinque Terre hiking tour and Small Group pasta and tiramisu cooking class.
