Loved this hotel so much!

Incredible view from the balcony. Waking up to the sound of the waves in the harbour. Super attentive and helpful service from the staff, they helped with arriving and directions a lot and also supported giving advice on best hiking and train options based on our length of stay. Easy location from the train station if you have reasonable sized bags.... (We saw some people attempting the stairs down to the harbour with 25kg cases and pushchairs in peak times!) Stunning room, well equipped with everything you could need, including beach towels. Extremely clean with fresh towels provided every day.

The only thing I can comment at all negatively is the bed is a little bit hard.

Highly recommend

Great cooperation with Denise, who helped with many things! Great location, right by the water, you can hear the waves. Great internet connection, which was important to me because of a work video call. Complimentary coffee and a small bottle of prosecco - very nice surprise.

All was great, but if someone is cold loving then the lack of AC might be a bit of a problem, but for me it was perfect! We stayed in the bottom apartment (no balcony) and maybe a bigger window would be nicer, but honestly we spent all the time outdoors anyway, so this was just a very minor thing, the place is still very much worth staying in.

Incredible location with breathtaking views!

Our booking was right in the main square of Riomaggiore! Couldn’t have asked for a better location during our stay! Very easy to get to with clear instructions by the host! The host was super nice and offered us lots of information about the area and recommendations on what to do in the area! Highly recommend!

There is no AC, but there is plenty to fans that surprisingly keep the room at a very cool temperature! Ended up being more than enough!

We had an excellent time here and will be back!

You can not ask for a better location. Right on the water in Riomaggiore and very close to get around and do things. No AC but we were never hot, the ceiling fan and portable fan were excellent, the provided beach towels and cleaned the room everyday. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly.

Beautiful getaway convenient to exploring the rest of the Cinque Terre.

The view was the highlight and quite spacious as well, which was a welcome surprise!

One night some of the people below became unruly and loud, keeping us awake from roughly 1AM-2AM. This is not the fault of the property, only something to be mindful of with some restaurants and bars nearby.

Location, location, location! Host was incredibly helpful in answering questions, finding parking and everything else. Taking the train to the other villages, and a sunset tour via small boat was wonderful.

Anita room, Allo Scalo dei Mille, Riomaggiore.

Location is fantastic. Riomaggiore and all of the cinque terre villages are extremely busy during peak season. However, staying here you get to see the real villages early in the morning and later in the evenings when the daytrippers have left. This room is spacious, light and airy and cleaned every day,. It' s location is second to none. Sitting on the balcony listening to the sea with a glass of local wine before going out to dinner is an amazing experience. Denise and Lydia are extremely helpful and will try to provide anything you need. Book this room before somebody else does!

Brilliant modern and clean room, right at the harbor.

I stayed in the room on ground floor. I was surprised how nice, clean and modern the room looked like. Everything you need, is there. For breakfast, just visit the small cafe right underneath the room (there's coffee and tea facilities in the room, fridge as well). Because it's right at the harbor which can be super crowded, you might think it will be noisy, but none of that with the window closed. Nice space to sit right at your front door. Brilliant spot, right at the harbor.

The rooms are in the most beautiful and old area of Riomaggiore, upon the marina.

My host Lydia was amazing. She met me at the train station as I was traveling alone and it was dark. Whenever I had questions I’d WhatsApp her and she’d answer immediately. Fabulous host.

can get a bit noisy at night due to location. lots of steps so hard with lots or heavy luggage. best to contact beforehand to book a porter.

On entering the Marina at Riomaggiore we were blown away by the beauty and never quite got our heads around the fact that this was to be our view for the next five days. Lavazza coffee on tap, daily maid service (which was superb), the unbelievable setting and the people all made our stay magical. I will miss the sound of the sea as I fall asleep and as I wake up. Riomaggiore was an amazing base to travel through Cinque Terre and to have a day trip to Genoa. My mind was blown by the Italian railway service compared to what is in the UK. Also, never have I seen such amazing train stations than those along the ligurian coast. I definitely advise you to download the 'Trenitalia' app to purchase all your train tickets. The long queues will therefore not require a second thought. Our favourite village to visit was Corniglia but we had a huge soft spot for Riomaggiore. It was heaven. The holiday of a lifetime was had.

There was literally nothing that we didn't like. We couldn't find fault. All our needs were met with added touches.

what you see is what you get! you can spot the room literally in every travel pic you’ll find of Riomaggiore! right on the tiny port lit by the glistening horizon of the mediterranean sea! rooms tasteful decorated, simple but suggestive Thank you so much Denise for your wonderful hospitality! The location is 10/10, the room was very comfy and clean and Denise the hostess was very kind. It’s a perfect accommodation for anyone who wants to stay inside Cinque Terre. The property was very close to the train station, which was very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Denise, the owner, could not have been more helpful--not only did she meet us at the train station our first night and walk with us/review everything in the village (such as stores and restaurants) and the room... she made arrangements with the courier from the airport AND walked with us to help pick them up when our bags were days late in arriving!! The room felt like a beautiful apartment--it was nicely furnished, had a large closet, a long desk, great lighting, a modern bathroom, a small bistro table/chair, and an espresso maker and tea kettle (with pods and tea bags), a small fridge and bottled water. The bed is very firm, I like it softer but know some people prefer that. The view is amazing!
