Great location

Great location overlooking Main Street. Wonderful directions to get to apartment ( it was needed with all those little cubbyholes in town). Everything in the unit was very clean and modern. I liked this town. Just down the hill to hop on the train.

Marion and Simone were wonderful hosts — very polite, welcoming, and helpful. They gave great explanations (with photos) about the area and how to get around. Never met them in person, but they were quick to answer my few questions on whatsapp. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the train station, with a Coop supermarket on the way, plus plenty of restaurants, bars, and focaccerie nearby. The room was spotless and well prepared, with thoughtful touches like biscuits, tea, and a kettle waiting for me. The bathroom was also super clean (I love having a bidet in the bathroom and Italians have it always). My room didn’t have a town view unfortunately (just walls and some stairs), but that wasn’t a very big issue for me, although I know I would have enjoyed more having that view). In October, even if it was sunny and warm during the day, it can get quite chilly inside at night — so bring a cozy pyjama and maybe some room shoes if you get cold easily. There’s also a duvet in the closet, so you can also use that.

The only downside, which I’ve also noticed in other Italian accommodations, is the noise. You can hear quite a bit from outside — people talking, footsteps, neighbors making coffee early in the morning, and some occasional pipe noises. Whenever the close-by neighbors are using the water (tap, shower) you can hear it in the room. Earbuds are mandatory if you want to sleep past 6–7 a.m. on your holiday! I really recommend getting them!

Nice place to base your Cinque Terre exploration

Pretty nice and clean accommodation in Riomaggiore right on the main street. Domenico was helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. The room, bed and bathroom were all good and clean. A little bit of noise being on the street but wasn't bothersome after shutting the double windows. Cinque Terre is beautiful and Riomaggiore is pretty good place as a base with the excellent train service and trails. Do the trails between the towns and you would see why this a UNESCO world heritage place.

A few days in the beautiful Riomaggiore

Met Marion for check in, she was very helpful, gave plenty of tips about village etc. She was at the end of the phone answering all sorts of questions throughout our stay. Giovanni checked us out and again very helpful with our queries- arranged for us to leave luggage till our travel time, which was brilliant. Thank you to both. Plenty of tea/ coffee facilities available in room. Fridge also to keep drinks & suncream cool.

Best place in Riomaggiore

Best place in Riomaggiore. The location was perfect, 1 minute from train station. Right in the center of the village. Restaurants and markets right in front of the apartment. The room was very clean and had everything that you need. Domenico was a sweetheart, if it wasn’t for him idk how we would reach Riomaggiore since there was a strike with the trains when we were visiting. He helped with everything. 100000% recomended

Comfortable, convenient stay in Riomaggiore

A well situated, spacious room close to the train station. A good amount of storage and comfortable bed. We were in unit 3 which looked over the Main Street but the sound wasn’t disruptive at night. Giovanni was an excellent host, there were even cookies waiting for us when we checked in

Great place to stay

Very central location (if you can say that in such a small town), pubs and outstanding places to eat are really next door. Also, easy to access with heavy luggage from the train station. The room was clean and very well prepared. Lastly, the host is very helpful and friendly. Would stay there once again.

Brilliant Stay

The location is perfect for Riomaggiore. Not too many steps. Marion, the host, was extremely helpful, giving all instructions and advice on getting the best value of our stay. She also provided us with the guest residents card which gave us a 20% discount for the love pass fee . We could also use the pass for 2 days which was a great bonus. The accommodation is basic but very spacious and clean and the location couldn't have been better. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again when visiting Cinque Terre. Highly recommend. Thank you very much Marion.

Great place right in the center of town.

The host is amazing. He is very helpful and super responsive. We informed him of a draining issue in the bathroom sink and shower and it was fixed the next day. The location is fantastic, right on the main street, but above the noise so when you are in the apartment, it is nice and quiet.

The lighting is a little dim in the room, but that's not really a big deal for us.

Value for money

Location was excellent, right on the main street. Basic room, very big, bathroom could do with updating, however no complaints. We had 2 rooms for 4 of us in a wing with just 3 rooms, so was very private. Air conditioning worked well. Would stay again. Giovanni was very helpful.

The stairs, however can't be avoided in Cinque Terre.

Excellent location and awesome staff. Our host was very accommodating and helpful. Really great bloke and great service.

If you don't like stairs then you might have a little trouble but really, if you are coming to Cinque Terre you should know this already :)

Very good

The location is definitely top! The room is located right in the main street, surrounded by all the cafeteria’s and shops and is only 5 mins walk to the beach and also to the train station. There is a cleaner coming everyday, so we always got back to our room with everything already cleaned up. Domenico is super responsive and helped us with everything we need!

The room is definitely not sound proof, which makes it kinda noisy at night. We basically heard people screaming every night!

La ubicación. Cerca de la estación del tren y a 2 minutos de el mar y las fabulosas puestas de sol de Riomaggiore. Cómodo, limpio, todo lo necesario, hasta una sombrilla de playa está disponible. El dueño muy dispuesto a resolver y responder cualquier inquietud o necesidad. Si volvería a reservar ahí.

A partir de las 7 am hay mucho ruido en la calle. Por la noche,el callejón que da al alojamiento me parece poco iluminado.

Nel cuore delle Cinque Terre

Camera grande, pulita e dotata di comfort quali condizionatore, ventilatore, bollitore e cialde del caffè a disposizione. Host veramente cortese e disponibile anche a dare consigli sui dintorni. Posizione nel cuore di Riomaggiore e comodissima sia per la spiaggia che per la stazione con cui raggiungere anche gli altri paesi delle Cinque Terre. Consigliatissimo.
