Visit was excellent and would love to have stayed longer.

Location was excellent. Located on the main street in Riomaggiore that is close to the train station, beach, restaurants and shops.

The room was lovely. But very very very steep stairs up to the room. Was difficult for me to drag my overpacked luggage up the stairs.

Absolutely not what was advertised. Can’t have food in the apartment so force to buy at high prices on the restaurants. Bathroom very small no water pressure. We weee gong stay 4 days but left after 2. Would definitely not recommend. Overpriced motel room with not extras. No kettle just a pod coffee machine.

Perfect place to stay in riomaggiore

Lovely clean, fresh, and spacious rooms, one of which had a balcony which was a lovely surprise! Location was perfect, 6 minute walk to the station and on the main riomaggiore street with bars and restaurants. Bars aren't open very late so didn't have any issues with noise. Mini fridge in each room which was super useful. Easy check in with lock boxes holding keys outside each room. Received fresh towels etc. mid week which was appreciated.

Would have been comfier to sleep if duvets were provided as well as the sheets that are on the beds. Also would've been great to have a kettle, but managed to make cups of tea using the coffee machine without a pod.

Perfect location in dreamy Cinque Terre town

Our stay at La Dolce Vita in Riomaggiore was fantastic! Our host, Giacomo, was incredibly helpful and responsive on WhatsApp before and during our trip. He guided us to convenient parking (€20/day in a garage he arranged, which was well worth it) and even helped us with our bags to the apartment. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for Europe, with plenty of floor space for our luggage. We loved the central location right on the main street, windows that opened for fresh air, a handy clothesline for our swimsuits, and excellent air conditioning during a heat wave. :: FOR THOSE RESEARCHING CINQUE TERRE AND WHICH TOWN TO STAY IN :: We felt like Riomaggiore was the perfect town to stay in after lots of research on hiking Cinque Terre—it worked beautifully to train to the first town, hike from the first to second, grab coffee, hike to the third, then train through the rest (since part of the Blue Trail is closed). We enjoyed beaches in both Riomaggiore and Monterosso and took an evening boat ride right from the waterfront near the apartment. If you’re arriving by car, staying here makes logistics so much easier. Amazing value—we’d absolutely stay again!

Just a heads-up: the property is a two-story walk-up with no front desk or luggage storage. It’s more like a private Airbnb-style room than a hotel, so you’ll need to plan to carry your bags up when you arrive and take them with you at check-out. Not a problem for us, but good to know.

Staff are extremely helpful. Giacomo is friendly and responds to any request you may have.

We had very noisy neighbours above and below us. Perhaps the hotel could post signs asking other guests to try and be quiet after 10pm as a courtesy to others.

Superb

The room was right in the center of Riomaggiore which was wonderful, but with the windows closed was insulated from the street noise. It had A/C which was ideal in the summer heat wave. Easy no contact check-in.

Water heater noise from upstairs apartment/room was a bit loud at times- didn't bother me but might bother those who sleep light or have small kids trying to sleep!

The place was great, very well connected and right in front of the bustling streets of Riomaggiore. The apartment was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Cinque Terre. Cheers!

Amazing stay and we were so sad to leave.

The location was in the heart of Riamaggiori, which made it so easy to get to shops, restaurants, the marina and the beach. The host was very accommodating. The room had modern bathroom fixtures and was quite spacious. There was a window overlooking the street which was great for people watching, but quiet when the window was closed. If you are traveling with family this is a perfect place, as there are two apartments in the building. The top apartment has a balcony. We all agreed that we would stay here again. And the town and area were beyond amazing. Best part of our Italy tour hands down.

When we arrived by car we discovered that cars were not allowed beyond a certain point. It was a little difficult to navigate that and actually find our building. Note that it is an apartment building and not a hotel. The only identification on the building is the street number, which I think was 114. The host’s office is down the street and has a small sign that says La Dolce Villa. This isn’t a negative. Just something that you would want to know when you arrive to save time

Fabulous location, great view from room

Me and my partner took a short trip here and this room, place, service WOWed us. The place is in a great location you step out of the door to shops, restaurants. It is on a busy vibrant street but is not noisy. The view from the room was amazing and we was welcomed by a lady as soon as we arrived she was pleasant and showed us straight to our room with a welcoming smile

.Room was in a good location and 5 mins away from the train station. You can get to the marina or castello for the sunset easily by walking. Directions from the station to the hotel were clear. I enjoyed my time in Riomaggiore.

The narrow stairs up to the room but it is the same for almost all places as there probably will not be elevators in 5 terre.

Would not stay more than a single night here- good if all you need is to sleep before going out hiking all day. The WiFi was unreliable almost to the point of non existence and the atmosphere in the building was a little stark, signs saying no food in the rooms both made me feel like I could not settle in and made me wonder if they had problems with vermin. It’s a functional and clean room in a good location but no more.

Very clean and spacious apartment with a great location in the heart of the city. You can see the business of the street from your window. However, the noise can be easily canceled by closing your windows. The best thing about the stay was the owner of the accommodation. He was super helpful and helped us parked our car into his private parking spot and carry our luggage, which, believe me, wasn’t easy. Also he went to a trouble making us a list of good restaurants and places to see in the city.

Great accommodation in the heart of Riomaggiore, but please update the pillows!

Honestly I hate to knock anything because Giacomo was very helpful and the room itself was fantastic. Great size bathroom, room is extremely clean and spacious, A/C worked fantastic, location is AMAZING. We loved most of our stay, so thank you for that!

The bed. The pillows. We slept terribly. I think we realistically could’ve been fine with the bed if we had better/more pillows. We each got one pillow, and they were so flat that it was like just laying on the mattress. The bed was plenty big enough, but was two singles pushed together that easily slid apart if you weren’t careful (which we understand because it can accommodate a party that wants two single beds.) Really our main issue was the pillows, I mean we got about 3-4 hours of sleep the first night then about 1-2 hours of sleep the next night. Both of us woke up so sore in our back and necks, it was miserable. But also take in that the rest of the room and stay was seriously wonderful!

Great, specious place in central location.

The room is massive, very clean with simple decor, but keeping the original character (the wooden ceiling is just beautiful), I had to work one day and the internet connection was strong enough for remote working and the large desk super comfortable to work 8 hours. Giacomo is very friendly and super flexible and accommodating, warned me about upcoming storm and there was no problem with the late check out. Thank you very much, I really enjoyed the stay!
