I loved the location and how close to the town centre it is and if your looking for cheap place to stay on a night out I highly recommend it's not the most functional room or the most clean room ever but it was easy to get in at night and a roof over your head with a bed to sleep in. For 4 of us to share a room to work out at £25 pound each it was perfect for us.
Also the old man that was working at the time was lovely explained everything really well and all round a nice person so thank George guest house im sure we'll use you again.
the bathroom door was a sliding door that had a crack in it with ment it wasnt very private when using the toilet also the shower head does shoot water out of the shower as soon and you turn it on.

Great location and manager was very helpful and polite
Lack of parking, had to drive around for a good half an hour to find a spot. But manager was able to provide a permit at an additional cost.
Whilst not the managers fault, the noise level from other people was extreme. We were unable to sleep due to the level of noise and banging so very tired the next day with a long 5 hour drive ahead of us home

Lovely, comfortable, clean room and very friendly reception. Great location just off the Hoe and close to town centre. Very reasonable price and will certainly stay again when in the area

Some people above me was a little loud at around 3am I could hear them out their windowtalkingquite loud (think they had came back after a night out) I am a very light sleeper tho..so others may sleep through it.

Communication was fantastic from the moment I booked. The Guest house was centrally located for what I required and was amazingly quieter than I'd anticipated. The Hoe is beautiful and the Barbican was close by so we popped down for a look.
The Guest house is warm, clan and inviting in a homely way, the room was as expected and the bed very comfortable. The whole place was clean and tidy warm and welcoming.
There was nothing we didn't like.

The property was small and charming.
The host, Nigel, was super helpful.
For the value it’s brilliant, welcoming and perfectly located, and I would definitely stay there again.
Don’t expect a big modern hotel, it’s a guest house and we had shared bathrooms, but we knew that.

Nigel was very accommodating, which we really appreciated. He kindly helped us organise parking and made sure we had everything we needed in our room. We were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary oats, tea, and coffee for breakfast, such a thoughtful touch. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay!

The host made us very welcome and greeted us as well as handed us the keys to our own rooms within the property.
It was a lovely place, tea and biscuits were also provided which was a lovely bonus although unfortunately we didn't have time to eat them.
The property's location was a little rough and parking was quite limited. The property was also quite aged but was mostly clean so it was all good. There were ants in the bed though in room 6, luckily I'm used to camping though so felt right at home!

Good location for the Hoe , Barbican and City Centre (including the Theatre Royal where I was headed) The host was able to provide a 24hour residents parking ticket for £5 (compared to £16.50 for meter parking)
The bathroom was situated on the ground floor and the room was on the second floor, so although not a major inconvenience to me could be a problem for those with mobility issues.

Lots of tea/coffee/biscuits/porridge pots - none of which we were expecting so that was lovely.
The room wasn't great, carpet and decorating left a little to be desired.

Layout of room.
Hairdryer was good.
Lots of lighting options.
Good range of sockets to charge/use equipment.
Park across road was excellent for dog.
Next to pub that served excellent food.
Location is superb for discovering Plymouth.
Bed was a little soft and pillows a little thin.
Curtains were not light cancelling.

A well worn but clean stay. Cheap enough.
Door coming off bathroom. Cracks and threadbare, worn out, very old and not well maintained.

Location was perfect. Room did the job. Staff very helpful.
The only thing was the parking. It is £16.50 to park outside for 24 hrs however, the owner had a parking permit which cost £5 and thanks to the owner the parking costs were significantly reduced so a big thumbs up for that assistance.

Good location just round the corner - about 10 mins walk if that - to the Barbican historic harbour area. Comfortable bed, although it seemed well used.
A room right at the top of the property with toilets two flights of stairs down (albeit short flights) and the shower on the ground floor wasn't ideal but OK for a one night stay. There was also a musty smell in the room which didn't seem to dissipate.
