Team there was always available and supporting, we even came late at night and they re open the kitchen for us, highly appreciated !

- It was the cheapest place I could find in Zurich area in July.... I know.. it's not close to Zurich, but you have to weigh the cost of driving vs the cost of staying, plus if you are planning on driving anyways, it won't matter that much.
- Amden village is in the mountains, so if the weather is good the views can be very nice (it was pouring for 4 days so we didn't get to enjoy it unfortunately)
- It is a clean, cosy, family-run little hotel, and the room was big enough to fit 2 adults and 2 kids... Savings are good... for those of us who are struggling to get to grips with how expensive Switzerland is...
- The host is trying to be very friendly
- Breakfast is rather basic. One of those days you begin to value full English breakfast. Based on that experience we decided to opt out of evening meals and just buy our own food as we go.
- The room did not have coat hangers although there is space on the walls that could be used for that purpose, for example near the entrance.
- Also no TV, but I guess who needs it when you are in these gorgeous surroundings (except when it pours for 4 days)
- Thin walls, so any noise is very clearly heard
