Lovely rooms near lake but quite pricey and rooms really hot.

Room looked nice

Room was roasting hot and no means to control temperature. Hardly slept. Arrived in the evening and did self check-in, no staff present to ask. Also, quite expensive.

Nice hotel within easy reach for Flumserberg on public transport

The Lofthotel is a perfect location for a short ski trip to Flumserberg. The gondola at Unterterzen is easily reached by a short train or bus trip. The main hotel rooms are nicely designed and roomy for 1 adult and 2 children, or 2 adults and 1 child. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is perfectly adequate. The New Years Day breakfast was especially good.

We were advised on arrival that the coffee and hot chocolate machine was free for guests. We later found out that this was only the case for breakfast and that we must pay the rest of the time. It's a shame this wasn't made clear at the start.

Unusual building and location - worth stopping at.

Information on website is a bit confusing/lacking in detail - we couldn’t really work out what we were going to and only chose it because it was a convenient in-between location. Starting breakfast at 8.30am - very late! No power points by beds.

A great hotel, perfect for our one night stopover. Really helpful staff and a very nice breakfast. Rooms were spacious for our family of four.

I hadn't realised that the hotel was away from the lake, having read the description again it is clear that it is but the pictures made me think that it was on the lake. It only takes a few minutes to walk down to the lake.

the location, right next to the lake and with a nice modern style decorated and with plenty of light. friendly staff and very comfortable. we traveled with a dog and they also had everything prepared to make his stay also great

that we must walk to the breakfast to the restaurant about 300 m away from hotel. normally a nice walk specially with the dog but as we had quite rainy days it meant an extra shower…

Great family rooms

Excellent room - great for families (room set up with separate alcove for kids). although - no bathtub for kids (just fyi). Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

Pleasant

Breakfast was good. The breakfast is served outside the hotel, In a restaurant located 300m aprox. from the main building.

We booked 2 nights through booking and then we extended our stay through their website , taking advantage of an offer they sent us. When they presented the bill, they add taxes that were already included at the price fixed through booking, added charges for the children's bed and crib were it shouldn't have been charged. Doble check your bill or pay directly in advance through booking.com. The room was not cleaned during our stay ( 3 nights) the towels were changed once one of our friends who was also staying complaint about at the end of the second day. We were traveling with a baby and two toddlers. No one came to empy the bins so we had to take the used diapers outside the room ourselves. It was like housekeeping didn't exist!

Location is bit remote. There were no restaurants except one in the location.

Ver comfortable hotel, with an amazing view and great restaurant

We all loved the hotel! It had a very beautiful view of the mountains. It is totally worth it to pay extra for the view. The room was clean, spacious, modern, with good temperature in the inside for winter. I loved that they use shampoo, body lotion, hand soap of the brand RITUALS. The design of the rooms is cool and you really fell very comfortable with the big size. We loved the restaurant of the hotel. You have to walk like 4 min to reach it as it is literally beside the water body. The breakfast was amazing! It included fruits, breads, eggs, proteins, yogurts and you could repeat as much as you want. We stayed there for new years eve and we payed for an expensive 6 course dinner, but it was totally worth it. Me, my partner and family are definitely coming back. We went to ski to Flumserberg and stayed here in Murg, you just have to take a train and i think is only one stop away, so it really easy to get there. I would stay in Murg to go to ski in Flumserberg or explore the surroundings. Because there is nothing in Murg, beside activities in the lake.

- Good location - very close to Flumserberg lift - Big rooms - two beds, suitable for family with 2 kids - Design - Dinner and service by Matthias - excellent! - 2 minute by walk to the lake

- Dinner is foxed menu, and seemed slightly overpriced - View from the window - another building - maybe other rooms better

Super Aufenthalt, wenn man wenig Zeit im Zimmer verbringt

Im Grundsatz war alles in Ordnung, das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Zusatzausstattung war umfangreich (Wasserkocher, Tee, Wasser mit und ohne Gas, Föhn, Handcreme usw.)

Das Zimmer war extrem kahl und düster, es hat keine Deckenlampe, die Stehlampe bringt wenig Licht. Es hat auch keine Tagvorhänge, somit muss man entweder die dicken Nachtvorhänge ziehen, was das Zimmer extrem dunkel macht, oder man lässt es und nimmt in Kauf, dass man vom Gebäude gegenüber ins Zimmer reinschauen kann. Die Fotos an der Schrankwand sind für Erwachsene zwar sehr interessant, den Kindern haben sie Angst gemacht. Deshalb haben sie Zeichnungen gemalt, um die Fotos damit zu überdecken.

Besonderes Hotel mit sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre

Ein wirklich besonderes Hotel, das Loftzimmer mit Seeblick ist originell gestaltet, bequeme Betten und alles sehr sauber! Der Blick auf den See und die Berge im Hintergrund ist toll! Das Personal ist super nett, das Frühstück ist sehr gut mit sogar ein paar regionalen Spezialitäten. Kein grosses Buffet, aber es ist ja auch kein so grosses Hotel. Das Gym ist sehr gut ausgestattet, nur ein Ergometer fehlt. Die Bahnstrecke ist nah, und man hört die Züge bei offener Balkontür natürlich - uns hat das nicht gestört. Und auch wenn die Gebühr für einen Hund recht hoch ist, ist das Hotel sehr hundefreundlich. Das gesamte Konzept ist schlüssig, und kompromisslos gut umgesetzt.

Die Lage ist wunderbar und Murg liegt sehr malerisch. Der Walensee ist toll und die Wanderungen in der Gegend sind super! Interessante Zimmer, da Charme der Fabrik erhalten, sicher etwas für Abenteurer/junge Leute :) Wir waren für eine Nacht ganz zufrieden. Es war alles vorhanden. Es ist aber wenig Beleuchtung da und das Zimmer und Vorzimmer wirken sehr dunkel, auf jeden Fall in dem Zimmer mit Hofblick, in dem wir untergebracht waren. Ansonsten alles ok und sauber. Wir haben nicht gefrühstückt. Das Restaurant konnten wir nicht kennen lernen, da wir ziemlich spät angekommen sind und schon vorher gegessen haben. Der Eingangsbereich ist einladend. Das System des digitalen Schlüssels ist sehr bequem. Für ausländische Gäste ist es aber wichtig zu wissen, dass man dafür Internet braucht, es wäre also angenehm, vorher den Hotel wlan Zugang zu kennen, obwohl das Signal nach draußen glaub ich ziemlich schwach ist.

El hotel está practicamente frente a la estación de trenes por lo que esta muy bien ubicado. El lugar es muy tranquilo, la habitación que nos asignaron tenía muy buen espacio.

el desayuno es algo costoso para lo que se ofrece. No me quejo de lo que te ofrecen pero sin un poco de la cantidad.
