A hotel that is not willing to rent a bed to paying and tired customer.

I was looking for a place to stay overnight as I got lost with a train and was a bit intoxicated (not aggressive). Initially went to the hotel, but learned they have no place. I've eaten a good lunch there (cordon bleu). I checked on Booking and there was a place available, so I booked it and paid immediately. When I came to the desk again, I learned there is not space, my money was not returned and police was called.

Pretending there is no space even there is space available. Not accepting guests even after they paid.

Good breakfast teas, coffees etc. fruit juices, mineral water etc. Mine host, Roland Hofstetter, speaks good English and is very helpful and nothing seems too much trouble for him.

Although a little expensive for 170 CHF for a 3-star hotel, the hotel offers little details like dimable light, a minibar for cosmetics or scrambled eggs for breakfast and friendly staff.

Okay-ish for an overnight stay, but not something to remember fondly

Late-night checkout is supported. The receptionist was quite attentive and even offered to make us sandwiches or salad\fries since the restaurant kitchen was closed (we arrived after 10pm-ish). Kudos to her!

[Beware] no kettle in rooms ( so forget about making tea\coffee\etc ;) ). Furniture in the room and bathroom was quite dated. The rooms downstairs (-1 floor) feel more like a basement. The breakfast is okay-ish, but very basic.

I love everything about the Hotel- restaurant Sternen. the experience is once in a lifetime. Simply amazing and wonderful experience. from A to Z and that is because of professional and understanding of the staff and the owner Roland Hofstetter who goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Thanks and job well done. Keep up the good work and I would recommend anyone to experience this establishment have to offer. Love it .

Voor ons een geweldig goede ervaring zouden hier zeker weer heen gaan

Zowel ontbijt al de warme maaltijd erg goed heerlijk vers en al het personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Hotelkames ware wat gedateerd maar wel lekker schoon en alles vooradig. Prijs kwaliteit is dit hotel Top.

Persoonlijk vonden we de matrassen en kussens voor ons niet passed matrassen aan de harde kant en kussens wat te dun maar dit kan natuurlijk heel persoonlijk zijn.

Es ist seit Jahren meine bevorzugte Adresse, wenn ich in der Gegend arbeite.

Das Hotel hat ein gemütliches Restaurnt und eine Bar. Die Speisekarte und Küche kann ich nur empfehlen. Gratisparkplätze stehen auch meistens genügend zur Verfügung.

Es waren nur Kleinigkeiten wie ein defekter Kühlschrank oder ein nicht funktionierender Dimmschalter.
