The room for 4 was a bit small, although I had seen it in the pictures so it was not a surprise. Common spaces made up to that really well, and the hiking of course as well. I actually just slept in my room, nothing more, and it didn´t matter that it was a bit small.

The view was amazing. The staff was nice. Has all you need if you planned on staying at the facility. Internet worked.

About 30 minutes from restaurants and attractions. Attic type apartment with the extra room being just a pod with a scary ladder that would be great for kids but not adults.

It was a stay that left me with the best memories I will never forget. It was a stay that left me with the best unforgettable memories of my life. The hospitality of the hostess, the perfect accommodations, the clean and neat Swiss home-cooked breakfast, and above all, the rural scenery and tranquility around the accommodation provided the best healing.

Beatiful cozy house in the country side and in the middle of the Swiss mountains

The house is absolutely adorable, very private, full with lovely decoration details and little sayings, we felt really confortable and at home. In the Kitchen and Bathroom everything was available one might in case you have forgotten to bring some essentials, and even if you want to grill outside there is also coal to be used as well. Beatiful well kept fenced garden with the most breathtaking views! We were lucky to enjoy some good weather sitting outside in the patio looking at the mountains. Being country side the cows were also very cute to check out, and they also make available fresh milk. Overall a great place to relax, take in the nature outside and decompress in the middle of the Suiss mountains.

We were very happy with our stay, nothing really to point out here. In the Kitchen we only missed having a microwave as we use it a lot, but other than that it was all perfect.

Satisfied! Beautifull spot.

The reception person was not briefed well about our coming. So we were at first directed to different rooms than the apartment that we had booked. This was later corrected, and the apartment was stunning.

Heaven on Earth

Our stay was simply heaven! Family Knaus went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. The location on the hill has spectacular views to Saentis and surrounding area. Hiking right from the doorstep is perfect with plenty of lovely cows along the way. Mägi's breakfast is homemade with love, their own milk and yoghurt, fruits, bread, granola and a delicious variety of local cheeses. What else would you want? Not only could we visit their cows and goats and felt welcome and were looked after exceptionally well throughout our time that we tried to extend for a few days. It came as no surprise that it was completely booked out. We are already planning a return and a much longer stay to embrace the beauty and hospitality at Aemisegg. Highly recommended and a big thank you to everyone at Gaestehaus Aemisegg!

A fantastic stay in a cosy accommodation with an amazing hostess!

I can't speak highly enough about the fantastic stay I had! I was delayed at the airport so ended up getting there around 2am, but Magi (the owner) was very helpful with directions and stayed up late to let me in. The accommodation is so cosy and Magi was so welcoming that I felt right at home immediately. And the breakfast... absolutely amazing and so much more than expected of a continental breakfast! 10 out of 10! Would love to go back and stay sometime in the future and highly recommended!

°séjour exceptionnel°

°Un séjour absolument merveilleux° J'ai passé 3 jours inoubliables dans cette charmante gasthaus. La dame et le monsieur qui nous ont accueillis étaient d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle et toujours aux petits soins. Le petit-déjeuner était tout simplement excellent, avec une qualité et une variété au rendez-vous. La gasthaus donne une vue sur la montagne du Säntis, et j'y ai pu admirer un magnifique lever de soleil le dernier jour — un moment magique. La chambre était impeccable, confortable et très agréable, il y a même un petit frigo. L’emplacement est parfait pour partir en balade et profiter pleinement de la nature environnante. Le jardin était aussi magnifique, je n'ai pas pu vraiment en profiter car il faisait très froid en cette période. Je reviendrai sans hésiter.

Das Haus ist in einer wunderschönen Umgebung mit Blick auf den Säntis. Zimmer sind einfach aber mit viel Herz dekoriert. Hervorzuheben ist definitiv das Frühstück und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft der Besitzer. Definitiv eine Unterkunft wo man gerne wieder zurückkommt.

Prachtige plek voor een fijne overnachting.

Vriendelijke eigenaresse en anderen die hielpen bij het avondeten en ontbijt. Knusse, schone slaapkamer van alle gemakken voorzien en een hor voor het raam. Heerlijke (gedeelde) douche in een hele grote schone badkamer. Voldoende handdoeken. Heerlijk ontbijt, mooie rustige locatie. Je mag overal in de tuin zitten en rondlopen. Ook binnen zijn meerdere zitjes.

Pure Gastfreundschaft

Sehr netter Kontakt, ein super leckeres Frühstück und kleines Matratzenlager (4 Plätze) unterm Dach - perfekt für die Durchreise und zum Abschalten. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden, es gibt einen sehr schönen Garten mit Aussicht.

Prachtige plek

Bij aankomst was Mägi er niet dus toen was het voor ons even zoeken, maar al snel voelde we ons thuis op deze prachtige plek. En wat een geweldig mooi uitzicht! Het is prachtig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Eind van de dag konden we verse melk halen, dat was heerlijk. Ook erg leuk voor onze kinderen dat ze in de stal bij de koeien mochten kijken. Als er iets op was of we hadden iets nodig stuurde we een berichtje naar Mägi en kwam ze het brengen. Dat was heel fijn en wat een goede service. Helaas toen wij er waren was het weer wat minder. Zelfs toen was Mägi zo behulpzaam om ons wat tips te geven om te kunnen doen in de omgeving met onze kinderen. Nogmaals heel erg bedankt dat we bij jullie mochten verblijven. Jullie zijn een voorbeeld voor anderen.

Het gedeelte waar de kinderen sliepen was niet afgewerkt, het is geen probleem maar wij vonden het zonde van deze mooie plek.
