Amazing quadruple room in the attic (may be a problem if you are very tall), clean, spacious, quiet, free parking, not accessible and no elevator. Check in, we needed to call a phone number displayed at the entrance to get the code for the key box (heartfelt thank you to the guest that helped us with the process)

The Schafli is a companion hotel to the Hotel Uzwil which is a good 4*. Breakfast was at the Uzwil, a 10 minute walk but worth it as an above average breakfast in a lovely clean restaurant. The bedroom at Schafli was clean, good sized shower room and functional. No staff on site and seems to cater over business overnight customers. Very handy for the excellent rain service across Switzerland and cheaper than Zurich

We were very happy with this hotel. It was a nice surprise. I loved the cleanliness and parking. The little extras were very nice as well. Water, tea, and fruit plus a few toiletries. After traveling all day this was a nice comfortable place to rest. We came in Oct. and the temp in the room was pleasant.

We stayed just for one night on the way from Lausanne to Munich. It was perfect. The room was pretty small, but we had everything we needed. It was automated check in, very easy and understandable, and very convenient. Clean and nice place.

Beautiful hotel in a convenient location. Easy automatic check-in and perfect car parking. The room (top floor) was extremely large, very well furnished and with a very comfortable bed. Very nice lounge area to heat up food and have hot drinks. A bit noisy at night and, being on the top floor, the ceiling is a bit tricky not to bump your head into it in different spots (e.g. middle of the bathroom and going to bed.

This is not a Hotel more like a Hostel. No service only wending machines. For me as a 1 night stay chamber was OK with good WI FI but no breakfast or other services.

We had problem using the automated check-in system at this hotel. We were asked to key in the 10 digit confirmation number but the confirmation number from hotels.com was 13 digit and thus we were unable to use the system. We had to wait for assistance from the staff at Hotel Uzwil which was the sister hotel near the train station.
