A Beautiful Place with Shockingly Unfriendly Staff. Sorry NOT sorry.

As one review already pointed out: you just want to avoid this host - old woman. It’s honestly not worth the stress. Please see the section what I didn't like this is just something extra what happened to my friend in the beginning of our stay. To make things worse, she also screamed at my friend, who had simply stopped by for a short visit and parked his car in her lot for a few minutes and did not block anyone. There was no sense of warmth, no welcoming attitude, and not even a smile towards my son-something you’d normally expect from most people. I’ve never encountered such unfriendly staff before-seriously. I’ve travelled extensively across Asia, South America, and Europe, but this experience was a complete failure. The location and its natural surroundings are truly beautiful, and the room was also nice. However, the behavior of the staff was completely inappropriate. Let's continue below.

I would strongly advise removing this property as a booking option, even though the price is relatively affordable for this region. Fortunately, my family and I only stayed for one night-but I was ready to leave immediately if necessary. Especially if you have a small child: do not book this place. You're better off spending a bit more for accommodation elsewhere. The older woman who runs the place seemed to genuinely dislike children and acted in an extremely rude manner. When we tried to give our one-year-old son a quick shower, she suddenly appeared and stood in front of our door. The look on her face made me feel very uncomfortable, even alarmed. We ended up locking the door and stopping what we were doing-it felt like a disturbing, almost traumatic moment. Before this incident, she hadn’t spoken any English-only shouted in German. At one point during her house presentation, she yelled at both me and my son just because he wanted to walk a bit in the hallway. She insisted I carry him instead. I’ve honestly never experienced anything like this before. Later, she tried to justify her behavior in English by saying that children had damaged the floors in the past. As a result, dogs stay for free, but there's a “voluntary fee” for children. Before arriving, I had already asked through the booking chat how to handle the payment for our son, since he always sleeps with us in the same bed and therefore does not require extra space. Furthermore, most accommodations normally do not charge children under 2 years old. Her responses were vague and unsettling-things like “something extra,” or “we will determine how much your child is worth,” or even “how much is your child worth to you?” There was no clear information-only repeated mentions of a voluntary extra charge. That probably explains why she tried to stop us from showering our child-it felt like some kind of punishment.

Swiss, Swift and Authentic

It was a very authentic Swiss experience. Check-in was swift and the host, Sylvia was very friendly. Furthermore, she surprised us with coffee in the morning.

Stay away at all cost!!!!!

Place was clean and dogs had a good fenced in run...only positive things to mention.

The owner is a complete nightmare. She is intrusive, you feel like she is watching your every move like the Gestapo. She seemed to appear out of nowhere and critically inquired 'where are you going? Why are you leaving the dogs in the room?' when I tried to go outside at around 9pm to get something out of my car. The worst of the place is that there are no keys to the rooms NOR the entry, which is directly at the street...literally anyone could just walk in from outside and get into your room. They don't take cards either, which I did not remember. The pamphlet on the room says, serve yourself in the community fridge. Obviously, I had approached the owner in the morning to pay for a small bottle of wine, a beer and some dried meat, that I took the night before when she told me only cash. I inquired about the closest ATM and she wanted to prevent me from driving there, threatening me with the police if I did not show up in 10 minutes. Then, she also insinuated that I had stolen a knife because "how could I have eaten the meat without a knife?' She had checked out the room between my carrying my portable little fridge to the car and saw a fork on the table, which I had left there (it was her property, not mine) as I had taken it off the community kitchen the night before to eat the dinner I had brought with me. I have met a lot of strange people in my life but have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome in a place before. I was not even truly bothered about the lack of keys, but that combined with the hostess' behavior gave me the feeling I had been stranded at the Rocky horror picture show without the fun and dance. I was deeply insulted by the lack of trust from someone who leaves their doors wide open to intruders and is willing to jeopardize the safety of their guests. Definitely stay away from this place if you want the feeling of a Wohlfueloase....it is neither Wohlfuehl, nor oase.

Parfait pour une pause avec le chien

La chambre était propre et chaleureuse, on se sentait comme à la maison. Silvia adore les chiens et la nôtre s’est, elle aussi, sentie bien accueillie (gamelles, grand coussin pour faire dodo…). Elle nous a proposé du thé et du café le matin juste avant de partir, c’était apprécié.

Amennyiben teljesen elszakadnál a külvilágtól és nem rettensz el a nomád élettől, így ezt a szálláshelyet neked találták ki. A fotóval ellentétben SEMMILYEN főzési/ételmelegítési lehetőség nincs, ellátás nem jár a szálláshoz, de ha esetleg ételrendeléssel orvosolnád az éhségedet, akkor azt csakis az utcán fogyaszthatod el, ugyanis a szobában az étkezés tiltva van. A szállásadó abszolút nem kooperatív a főzési lehetőséget illetően, arra hivatkozik, hogy azért nincsenek konyhai eszközök a szálláson, mert a korábbi vendégek elrontották. Úgy gondolom, csak a mi szállásdíjunkból kijönne legalább egy mikró, de akár egy régebbi hűtő is. A hirdetésben szerepelt kerti grillezési lehetőség is. Ha valaki esetleg kedvet kapott ilyesmihez, el kell, hogy szomorítsam. A kertbe kizárólag a tulajdonos lakásán keresztül lehet eljutni, ami privát zóna és az átjárás tilos. Összegezve a tapasztalatokat elmondható, hogy csakis a leírt információkra szabad alapozni, a képekre nem. A tulajdonos az egész házat körbefotózta a hirdetéshez, a saját lakását is beleértve. A lefotózott helyszínek fele a vendég számára egyáltalán nem elérhető. Nagyot csalódtunk a svájci vendégszeretetben.

Für Hundebesitzer traumhaft

wir sind leider erst später abends angekommen wurden aber sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Dame des Hauses hat uns dann auf dem eingezäunten Gelände sogar noch das Licht angemacht, sodass unsere Hunde noch etwas herumlaufen konnten

Die GastgeberIn waren sehr freundlich, authentisch und zuvorkommend. Ich habe mich mit meinem Hund rundum wohl gefühlt und zusätzlich vom Team,ihrem Rudel und weiteren Hunden,grosse Unterstützung erhalten. Das war für uns sehr sehr hilfreich. Ich durfte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt geniessen. Auf ein andermal und vielen herzlichen Dank .
