Getting in the front door was easy. The stairs were a little tricky for old me and my big feet. The room had what I most needed and the bed was very comfortable.
One floor lower would have been better for me. I just didn't know better.

The location is truly wonderful. The bed, linens, and towels are great. Our room is a stylish replica of an old house. The kids' attic room was much simpler. Parking is very close, just across the road. Very convenient, but the price is 25CHF per day.
Having a shared bathroom is, of course, a compromise. On our floor, the bathroom and toilet were separated, and the toilet was very small and uncomfortable. The bathroom had double sinks, but only one had hot water. The shutters on one of the windows in the room were missing. But the worst thing was the incredibly creaky floor, both in the room and in the common area. The soundproofing was simply terrible. The neighbors came in shortly after eleven, when we were already asleep. We had to wake up.

This property is a great location and was perfect for what we needed.
Above a smoking shop and the smell of smoke seemed to seep through the house.
