Perfect for Santa Teresa area

Great location - changed last minute to stay here and so glad I did first time in Rio. Chrys is a lovely welcoming lady. House has lots of character and feels like home from home. Great value loved it thank you! Easy to find on safe street.

Chrys kindly let us upgrade to larger room with bathroom as husband is over 6 ft lol - the room we originally booked is quite small and has outdoor bathroom to bear in mind.

Good and affordable spot for exploring Rio.

Chris was a great host and this casa is located in a central, but quiet and safe part of Rio. The outside space and view is very nice, with parrots and monkeys in the nearby trees. We were six people using the three rooms of the house, which was convenient for breakfasts and dinners, and for sharing the shower which had good hot water. This house offers pretty good value for the price.

The room upstairs is very small and the only accessible toilet from this room is outside. Things like lighting, furniture, and kitchen equipment could be improved. At a few occasions, we had to clean dishes that were left by the owner or her guests.

This house had been built with a lot of love and is an absolutely gorgeous location. The view is amazing and Chris was welcoming and warm and really made me feel at home.

The most beautiful house I have ever seen in my life, I liked it very much.The host is very helpful and kind, I definitely recommend you to stay in this hotel. We had a great time with my wife. The location of the hotel is centrally located and safe in the city of Rio de janeiro.

Fun weekend stay in a musician's house

Good location in Santa Teresa. Our host Cris was very friendly and helpful, and is a talented musician. The garden was lovely to sit in, with a cool breeze and great views of the city.

There were a few biting insects but this is likely given the time of year. A mosquito net over the bed would have been perfect for the night.

Incroyable expérience

Krys est une hôte incroyable. Très accueillante, et généreuse. Elle m’a conviée à des événements musicaux (concerts, répétitions de bloco). Sa maison est magnifique, on sent l’âme d’artistes. Vous y trouverez de nombreux instruments ainsi que des chats adorables. Le jardin est à couper le souffle. Un poumon de verdure avec une vue imprenable sur Santa Teresa.

gente, quero morar na casa da Cris kkkkkk que lugar lindoooo! Vale ressaltar de é uma ladeira pra subir, mas chegando lá vc esquece de tudo de tão lindo. A decoração muito autêntica, espaço limpo com ótimas áreas de convivência mas parece que você está sozinho em casa pela tranquilidade. Levem repelente pois santa teresa é um lugar bem arborizado e possui muitas plantas na hospedagem, o que deixa tudo ainda mais bonito. Cris foi uma querida, hiper atenciosa do início ao fim! Fotografei cada cantinho da casa pra me lembrar sempre que der saudades, logo logo estou de volta <3

Quartier très agréable et tranquille. La maison est très chaleureuse. On s'y sent bien. Le jardin est magnifique. L'hôte qui parle très bien anglais, donne de très bons conseils sur la ville. Je recommande !

Casa antiga charmosa que precisa de mais cuidados e limpeza.

O senhor Carlito foi super educado e prestativo, nota 9 para a hospitalidade. A decoração da casa, apesar de antiga e empoeirada, é bem charmosa e vale a pena reparar na sala principalmente. A localização é relativamente boa, por ficar na parte alta do bairro notei que os motoristas de aplicativo demoram mais para aceitar a corrida. O bairro é tranquilo e ótimo para aproveitar de dia e noite, vale a pena conhecer Santa Teresa com calma!

Fiquei em 2 quartos, um no térreo com banheiro super apertado (que molhava o chão todo mesmo com a cortina na área do chuveiro), e no quarto do mezanino, ambos com espaço muito pequeno, camas que não são confortáveis e iluminação ruim. Há 2 quartos que não são suítes e o fato de ter que usar um banheiro na área externa da casa deixa a desejar (felizmente não peguei dias com tempo chuvoso, seria um problema caso tivesse dado má sorte). Minha sugestão é melhorar a limpeza da casa e principalmente roupas de cama, notei que não foram lavadas pelo cheiro e sinais de "caruncho". A cozinha é ok, mas falta um micro-ondas para melhor comodidade dos hóspedes.

Ameeei muito toda a experiência! Fui recepcionada pela Roberta, um amor de pessoa e super acolhedora. Tive todo suporte e dicas sobre locomoção pela cidade. O quarto é uma delícia, adorei que tinha uma raquete elétrica, mosqueteiro e um massageador elétrico kkk AJUDOU MUUUITO! Pois estava no RJ para o show da Lady Gaga, então minhas pernas agradecerem hahaha Tenho certeza que quando voltar ficarei aí novamente, para rever a Jabuti e os gatinhos, muito obrigada ❤️

De hosts zijn erg aardig en relaxed, waardoor je je al snel op je gemak voelde. De tuin is erg fijn! Het is een knus en artistiek huis.

Het enige wat ik jammer vond was dat de wc zich niet in de kamer bevond of dichtbij, maar beneden in de tuin.
