I liked the cleanliness of the room and the view over the courtyard, I liked the peace and quiet. Breakfasts were generally good. Henley was a short car/taxi ride away and would have been walkable but there was no footpath for a stretch on the road.
Although breakfast service on Tues/Weds was impeccable and efficient there seemed to be an issue on Thursday morning. The member of staff was trying their best but we had tea delivered to the table but no cups. We then waited about 5 minutes and some cups appeared but no spoons. Other customers were being attended to before us and breakfast was a lengthy affair. I think there should have been another member of staff on duty as it clearly wasn't working. The member of staff was apologetic and polite but it wasn't really acceptable.
Also - please supply more than 2 teabags a day in the room. We managed to get some from the clubhouse to top up.

Comfortable and clean room and open areas. Simple but sufficient breakfast. All staff were extremely polite, friendly and efficient.
