Lovely pub in the centre of Henley. Decor is beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked the family room as it was the only room left, it was huge, two separate bedrooms, would also be good if staying with friends. Bathroom was lovely.

Everything was fab, but due to hot weather the room was like a sauna, and the portable fan unit was pretty ineffective. Apart from that, all good. Nice meal in the restaurant too.

We visited in a heatwave and the air-conditioned room was the best I’d experienced. Unobtrusive, quiet and easy to control. Also loved the effort taken to make the room a bit quirky and different.
The door handle to the room was a little temeramental.
