Tavern Townhouse - Boutique Town Centre Stay, Henley-on-Thames

It was right in the centre of Henley town and a walking distance to the river. So comfy, clean and I highly recommend staying.

Couldn’t get air con to work!

I had a lovely stay. It was very quiet, double glazed I should think. Those I spoke to were very helpful. The checking using code numbers was very easy.

I couldn’t seem to get the tv working properly but that may be that I’m very low tech.

Stylish room in a great location.

We were a bit confused on arrival because we didn’t realise that the rooms have names not numbers! So, just remember to look for the name! And this is a very central property which is great for grabbing a coffee in the morning - pret is 30 seconds away - but when the barrels are getting changed downstairs at 5am, you realise that there’s a bit of price for that! But location is great overall. We were able to walk to and from a friend’s party at a local pub.

Location , room spec and comfort

On arrival we found the bed linen had not bin changed and was marked Coffee cups left unwashed and stained , very disappointing for such a nice room
