About this bed and breakfast
Wayne and Tina had the great pleasure of taking on The Greyhound Inn in February 2014, since then they have refurbished all 10 guest rooms including new private bathrooms, refurbished the exterior including a new color scheme, new signage, and adorne.

breakfast was really good good choice of items served on hot plates which is very good, our room was nice tea coffee and water always renewed staff were always pleasant and polite
stairs up to the room were rather dark a little bit more light would be appreciaated

Location Ideal for our needs at the time. Food was very good. I agree with the shorter menu in order to keep the flexibility of opening times. Excellent sized room. They have managed to provide good accommodation and restaurant service while maintaining a traditional friendly pub atmosphere. This is not easy to do.

Some staff were helpful, others abrupt.
Catering was not a good experience. For example I arrived at 20.31 at the restaurant to get something to eat after a long drive to be informed that the kitchen closed at 20.30 so no food was not available. There was no near by alternative.
I found the meals to be below standard for example scrambled egg at breakfast was flavourless; ribeye steak at dinner was not sealed properly and the sauce provided was the consistency of water and again flavourless. I would not recommend the food offered as not value for the price paid.
