The location, facilities and food were excellent,
We probably should have booked a slightly bigger room

Lovely pub with a really good menu for those of us that HAVE to eat gluten free
Room and bathroom was a bit small, probably not good for larger folk. However it was quiet with a really comfy bed.

Clean rooms. Easy to find. Outside sitting area Some staff were helpful, others abrupt.
Catering was not a good experience. For example I arrived at 20.31 at the restaurant to get something to eat after a long drive to be informed that the kitchen closed at 20.30 so no food was not available. There was no near by alternative. I found the meals to be below standard for example scrambled egg at breakfast was flavourless; ribeye steak at dinner was not sealed properly and the sauce provided was the consistency of water and again flavourless. I would not recommend the food offered as not value for the price paid.
