Ca' Geremia Apartment

Great location and spacious apartment for family! Owner was kind and helpful! We enjoyed our time there.

A bit noisy given it’s in the centre of tourism place. This is not a surprise by the way.

Location was very nice and proximity to services and station was excellent

Perhaps a King size bed in one of the rooms would be a great addition

The location was a short walk away from the Saint Lucia railway station, so it was reasonably easy to get to. There was no elevator that we could see, but the apartment was in the first floor, so hauling up the carry-on bags was not an issue. As it was closer to the railway station, it did mean that it was a bit of a hike to San Marco, but that was part of the fun. Lots of shops and restaurants along the way. The apartment is also very big. We were just three, and it could have very easily have housed a couple of more friends/family. So if you are travelling with a bigger group, it becomes better value for the money. For just three, it was getting a bit pricy, but again, it is Venice. Also, since we spent our couple of days running around Venice, we didn't really take full advantage of the cooking facilities and the like, which would be an added value/saving compared to staying in a hotel. I really like having the comforts of home, like the full kitchen.

The bathroom. The sliding door took some time to get familiar with; my mother almost locked herself in. The toilet was rather small for a big guy like me, not the most comfortable. And while the shower itself was nice, I think there was a gap between the screen and the bottom where the spray got out, so after the shower, the floor tended to be wet and need some mopping with the towels. This is obviously not the fault of the apartment, but despite it being already November, there were quite a lot of people still in the streets. I can only imagine what Venice looks like at the height of the tourist season!

Good location, good hosts with clear information. Easy check in and out. Allowed to store bags before check in.

Very tired, needs painting and renovating.
