Alberghiera Venezia

Wonderful view and a very peaceful location. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it had everything we needed, with a lovely Venetian atmosphere. The reception staff were extremely friendly and gave us all the information we needed during our stay. We felt very welcome. I warmly recommend Alberghiera Venezia and would definitely come back for a longer stay next time.

A spacious one bedroom apartment by one of the canals and a short walk from the Venezia St Lucia train station. The accommodation is located in a small residential area with open spaces and good ventilation. It was in ground floor, something very useful for my father who was on wheelchair. The double bed in bedroom and two sofa beds in the living room comfortable slept six of us. The kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. There was a large window opening from the kitchen to the canal offering direct view of canal. It was a quiet neighbourhood. The supermarket on the Main Street was at walking distance. The fact that we didn’t have to cross any canal to reach here from the station was very helpful. The check in was very smooth and the hosts at reception were very polite and helpful.

The apartment is in a great location and the staff were all lovely. They left recommendations which was handy so we didn’t have to think or try too hard to find good food.

There is no ‘comfort staples’ provided - body wash, shampoo, coffee or tea. The pull out lounge was convenient to accommodate 2 couples however there is nowhere else comfortable to sit once it becomes a bed so keep that in mind because you’ll do a lot of walking around Venice and want to put your feet up.
