Authentic Venetian stay near the train station

The location was perfect, walking distance to the train station, no need to take a boat with the luggage. The house is lovely, very authentic experience.

No sorage room for the luggage after check-out, but we new about that inadvance, so no surprise.

But the apartment was quite enough for all of us and convenient near the center.

The location was very good near the station. However we arrived by a private van and a bit late in the night. we were 6 ladies, the van could not come above the bridge and we had to drag the luggage, no porter at all at that time and the apartment was 3 storeys up we were struggling to take our bags up the stairways. However we found one person, and paid him to take the luggage up for us 6 girls. that was an experience. But overall the apartment was good I should say. If we were only informed about the stairway at the beginning, it would have been easier and we could have planned well ahead. Anyway thank you.

Lots of space, clean and great location

The location could not be better for what we needed and we had just enough space where everybody was very, very comfortable. The directions were clear and easy to find. Having two full bathrooms was perfect and the AC worked really well as each room had its own split.

I honestly didn’t have any complaints, but if I had to pick one thing it would be there was no elevator, but this is pretty common in Europe.

The location is amazing, so close to the train and easy access to shops and restaurants. Very cool lay out as well.

The stairs up can be a lot for older or less mobile people, but they do state that it is on the upper floor.

Excellent location , quirky and authentic Experience

Great location minutes from the station right off the main thoroughfare opposite Despar for groceries, quirky, original Venetian apartment gave us an authentic experience in Venice. Very thoughtful, responsive and considerate Host.

The stairs wer an issue for our elderly parents but we were able to carry their bags up and down for them.

Great apartment, great location, great hosts!

Amazing location, only about 500m from Piazzale Roma. This matters, because in case you haven't been to Venezia before, Piazzale Roma is the only point you can get to by car or bus. Everywhere else, you're walking or taking ferries, and that is a major drag if you're schlepping suitcases with you. As it is, you will have to carry your bags over one large bridge, and then up 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment. That's not a complaint; that's called "getting off lightly" by Venetian standards. :-) The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, with good a/c in most rooms, and a nice, strong fan in the one room that doesn't have a/c. It's well equipped and maintained. The hosts are super responsive and accommodating. I thought we got off to a poor start when we arrived; the fridge was not working well and there was a terrible smell emanating from the back of it. I reported the problem, and the host immediately sent a technician to come and look. He couldn't do anything for us that day, but the next day he returned...with a brand new fridge! I was blown away. *That's* what I call service. Note for religious Jewish travelers: this is a great choice for a Shabbat stay. It's close to the Ghetto, inside the eruv, and if you make a special request, you can get a mechanical key for the front door.

The wall separating the two bathrooms doesn't go all the way up to the ceiling, which is kinda...weird. So you could be brushing your teeth in the one bathroom and hearing toilet noises coming from the other. But ok. Also, there's a supply cabinet in the entrance hall which seems to be shared by multiple neighbors. A couple times during our stay we had randos ringing at our door to get access to the cupboard. It didn't reach the point of being a nuisance at any point, but it was a little disconcerting.

How close it was to the train station. Supermarket right across the street. everything was really close to the apartment. overall it was a wonderful stay.

I wanted extra pillows, but no pillowcases to use the extra pillows. The fourth floor is a walk-up.

Extremely well-located and spacious for our group of 9. The owner and cleaning ladies were very responsive and helpful. There is a full kitchen, washer and dryer and comfortable air conditioning.

The wifi did not work. The shower curtain, the sofa bed and the extra bedding were not the cleanest.

Very comfortable stay in a conveniently located hotel

Good location, fairly close to the Centrale Station. Clean, quiet, and food eateries and supermarkets just a step away. The breakfast was good. We will book the property again if we visit Milan.

Nothing, only issue was the other visitors tended to pull their wooden chairs across their rooms, making noise.

Large apartment, great for large family of group of friends

Very spacious. As we were a group of three families it was great that there were ample room for kids to move around. Fully stocked kitchen, 2 bathrooms. 50m from the St Lucia train station and very short walk to the bus station, was very convenient as some of our party arrived very late at night so very easy to get to the apartment. Check -in very smooth, preregistered & paid the tourist tax online, detailed instructions sent for the apartment how to retrieve the keys etc.

Rubbish policy not very tourist friendly, but I suppose there is nothing the hosts can do about it. You have to drop the rubbish at the collection boat in the mornings (2min from the apartment) or wait for the rubbish collectors to go around the houses and collet it at random times. We had to leave a small amount of waste at the apartment as the collection was early in the morning and while we finished packing, some extra stuff would be accumulated before the check out, so there was no way of disposing of it.

Excelent italian-style appartment! Highly reccommended for your stay in Venice.

It was an amazing Italian-style home in the center of Venice. The location was perfect, the appartment was really comfortable with an amazing balcony to relax. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The bathrooms were clean, with many towels, soaps and a hairdryer. Our stay was excelent, we totally reccommend this for your stay!

I am not sure if there was an elevator, but we used the stairs to the 3rd floor.

Everything was as advertised. There is not 1 thing that we did not like. Place was perfect! I only wish we ( family of 5 including 2 teenagers ) packed lighter. :)

Very poor

As check-in time supposed to be 15:00, at 19:00 apartment was not ready, not cleaned after previous guests. After call with owner he promised apartment to be ready at 21:00. At 22:00 cleaner was still preparing apartments and requested for another hour to finish. Finally we could enter apartment at 23:00. That means we had to hang around in the city with languages and kids for an hour.

Beautiful location.

Nobody to communicate with. We tried calling, texting, and emailing. the made happened to be there when we came in. Wet linen was left in the dryer. The main bath tub was clogged and unusable.

Great location but the “cleaning lady” incident is huge No No

The directions sent by the owner were detailed and precise. It was very easy to obtain access to the apartment. The location is amazing there’s a grocery store directly across the street. The public transportation is steps away (water bus) and if we were taking the train Saint Lucia train station is steps away as well the owner was amazingly helpful...until the “cleaning lady” intrusion...we felt kind of unsafe after that.

2 days into our stay. We felt that our safety was in question after the cleaning lady just walked in the apartment with no notice, no knocking, my daughters walked downstairs because they heard something and saw this woman standing in the apartment ...we were ASLEEP...and did not hear anything. The owner did not pick up her phone until after I threatened a bad review and gave some story about a ‘an emergency’ in another apartment...nope nope nope Safety is huge for my family. We felt like we had to lock up everything after this. We were leaving for a day trip to London the next day and this left us uneasy. Also the dryer didn’t work after contacting the owner (we were given a drying rack)

It is not convenience stay if you bring a large travel bag and climb up to third floor since there is no lift but if you bring small beg it is okay. the heater in every room is not functioning well
