Easy checkin and great communication with the rental agency. However it was not at all a personal or Venezian apartment. Clean and spacious but a little boring. Good location in a quiet alley near the train station. Plenty of restaurants, breakfast places and tourists around the corner

Property was kept well , clean with all amenities to cook and eat Only disappointment was Air conditioning was out of the bedrooms which was utter waste of electricity. With no effect. An advice to management to think about having mobile or ceiling fans for bedrooms so that we can use them if needed . Lastly if bathrooms were in First floor, it would have been grt . Thank you overall experience was good . Will come back if my advice is considered

Sadly not at all as pictured, dirty and with a headboard that was literally peeling vinyl. Be warned; these are spartan digs at best and a gross at worst. Wish I had known this and read other reviews before staying.

Excellent location. There was a water leak from the AC unit in the living room. Washer available but no dryer. Shower like in many European countries was very tiny.

We were on Aprt 1 We got there and A/C was not working. We communicated this to the property and they advised that technician was going to go when he was available. Finally tech went to the apartment and we really only had one night with AC. It was super hot and unbearable in the apartment. We first asked for fans and were told we would only get them the next day. Slept with windows open but the bugs at night came in to the room. Apartment was overall in good condition but the issue with the AC really made our stay very unconfortable during a heat wave in Venice.

We had a great time. Apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. Only issue we had was the AC units in the apartment didn’t work and it was quite warm when we were there. We thought we would just open the windows to let the breeze in but the street is very busy so the noise was extremely loud, it sounded like the people outside were screaming in our room. Otherwise we loved the apartment and would definitely stay again.

It was a very good experience. . the apartment is what you get from the photos. We had some issues connecting to the wifi during the first night but on 2nd day it was working. All amenities are just enough for our needs. The location is great - close to the train station, shops for your provisions and restaurants. It is an easy walk to the tourist sites. Will recommend this apartment to others.

The location is good. BUT the cleanness and the living environment is very bad. We stayed at VENICE GRAN DESIGN APARTMENT 2 The description showed that the apartment have 1 double bed, 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed, but the truth is the apartment only got 1 double bed, 1 single bed and 1 sofa bed. The cleanness and the living environment is very bad. There was almost 10 mosquitos around the apartment. We spent 3 hours to kill 7 mosquitos after travelling Venice like 9pm. Another 3 mosquitos keep flying around us when we were sleeping. We could sleep for whole night. We tried to turn on the air conditioner but it was so smelly after turned it on. PS. there are two mosquitos still flying around me when I am typing this comment.

The apartment we stayed in was another one that the company had, still in the same area. We did not realise the reception was not at the location so had to walk all the way back although that was our error. The accommodation was fine however the aircon dripped down the doorway causing a musty smell & some pooling on the floor area. Otherwise very comfortable with access to a full kitchen & washing machine. Central & quite a good area.

The check in place is a bit far from the apartment that we stayed. We found out the wifi wasn’t working, they fixed it on the other day tho. But the network was quite weak when we were in the bedroom. Also they did not have hot water supply so we asked them to fix it. However they kept saying there was hot water even it wasn’t. I probably won’t stay here next time.

It is ridiculous to have customers lug all of their luggage to another building -in the complete opposite direction -to get key and bldg number.! Apt was clean , location great . Not happy with check out time and payment to keep bags after check out. Really disappointed by this !

The location is the highlight of this apartment: close to the station and in a great area of Venice, but the property didn't have some basic amenities like a coffee machine and didn't have enough forks for the 4 of us. The electricity in the kitchen didn't work, so we couldn't use some of the appliances like the microwave. The sofa was very uncomfortable. For the price I expected more.

The apartment was great, bigger than usual, and awesome location. The only negative points was having to check-in at a different place and not being able to raise the heater tempture because it is ali systematized (it wasn't cold but a little warmer would have been nice).

Rialto design apartments no 4 - avoid at all costs. absolute dump. at least 200 live and dead flies in the bathroom and a disgusting smell of drains. it the worst apartment we have ever stayed in , literally one level up from a tent. no cleaners , no towel change, dangerous electric lamp, a face level staircase directly outside shower enclosure. A minefield of poor quality yet the cost was £732 for the week plus 40eu city tax. Air con only blew cold air even on hot setting, and it was colder insdie than out. An utter disgrace to be allowed on to the market.

Check-in: different location than apartment (as stated). Lobby area nice. Staff friendly. Check-in time was very strict. Accuracy of pictures: they have many properties so it is difficult to know which apartment you will be getting. The apartment we got had a sofa couch in the living room (bed not made), twin pullout bed (not the most comfortable, bottom bunk not made), double bed in large bedroom. Only sheets provided for sofa couch and bottom bunk. Apartment was nice. However, pictures were a bit staged (lighting, decor, etc). Nevertheless, felt clean and safe. Location was great! Close to island entrance and check-in office. NOTE: AirBnB's during our 3-week trip in Europe had very reduced space and small showers. This was true of this property. Showers had to be spaced out because hot water runs out. From personal group experience, shower is too small for someone large (200+lbs).

Ok for general cleanliness. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. They give you a WiFi code but the WiFi doesn’t really work in that location. They wouldn’t provide sheets for the pullout bed or trundle bed or extra blankets. Luckily some of us had brought some thin airplane blankets that helped. When I called and asked for blankets they said I’ll get back to you which they never did then refused to answer any further calls. The space is also dark and cramped.

The key pickup was at a different location, than the apartment itself. That is fine, we looked that up beforehand, and we expected that. It was a nice, 15-minute walk. But, they told us the check-in was at 3pm. We got there by 5:30pm, and they were JUST cleaning the room! All of us were just sitting there, with NOWHERE to be able to put our bags, since the ENTIRE apartment was being cleaned. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes.There is no front desk, since its an apartment, only an office in another part of town. When we sent an email to complain, all we were told, was Sorry, the office is closed now. Please send your inquiry during regular business hours.I would NOT stay here again, there are PLENTY of other options in Venice, since the entire town is pretty much built on tourism.

There was a water taxi ride to the location which was fun but again transporting luggage was a task. The hotel was comfortable, hot running water and air conditioning. If you stay on the second floor, there is no elevator so you must drag your luggage up about 10 steps. It was a great place to stay though.

The location is very good. We had a lamp in the room that didn't work and the room had very little light without it. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived. The ironing board also needs a new cover. Otherwise everything was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did mention all of the above to one of the girls in the office before we left.

Check in time is supposed to be from 2-8 pm. They assigned me a check in time of 5pm as i had not yet booked my train and would not be flexible even though I arrived at 1. As a result I had to check my bags at train for a cost of 80 euro for 4 hours and wait for them till 5pm accommodate their schedule-and lost only 1 of my 3 vacation days in Venice as I had to accommodate their schedule in stead of them accommodating my schedule. My time was within the reasonable window of 2-8pm. Then at 5pm, the meeting place was hard to find, the woman inflexible as she had another appointment to go to so only had alloted me 45 minutes and did not provide sufficient information on how to find her and overall was just not nice!The apartment has several flaws (1) its much smaller than described - you can barely walk around if you use the sofa bed (2) there are two flights of stairs up to get to it (this was not disclosed) (3) they lecture you about that you have to take out your own garbage and have very onerous rules (with limited explanation) about the garbage (4) they will only allow the temperature to be 20 degrees- if you are hot, you open a window (and get bug bites) and if you re cold, tough luck- they did not provide sufficient towels or blankets or pillows. They did not email or call to see if we needed anything- we had to buy our own soap cleaner, garbage bags ect.
