Couldn't find the portafilter for the coffee machine but there were lots of other coffee making facilities so not a problem really 🙂

Perfect

We had a lovely stay in Brussels! The studio was much more spacious than we expected, and the little outdoor garden was such a charming bonus. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a coffee machine and even some milk, which was a thoughtful touch. The location was perfect—tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but still just a short walk to the city center and all the main attractions. Luc was incredibly kind and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. We’d definitely love to stay here again next time we’re in Brussels!

This is the best place to stay in Brussels

We had a great stay at Luc’s place! The space is comfortable and quiet in a nice area of Brussels. Very walkable to lots of places and an easy tram to the main station. We didn’t get to meet Luc but he was a very attentive host, sent us lots of local recommendations and answered any questions we had. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Brussels!

B'Kanal was in a perfect location for exploring the city, it was well equipped and beautifully decorated with quirky artwork and a comfortable layout. Luc was the best host with good communication before arrival and throughout our stay. He was very accommodating and approachable.

Exceptional

Very cool flat and top located to explore Brussels. Silent neighbourhood, but with very good and modern bars, beer bars, brasseries, shops around. Around 15 minutes walk to the historic centre (Bourse). Luc, the owner created some pieces of art for the flat and is a very nice and supportive guy.

I wished it had a door or curtain, I was travelling with my teenagers so a bit uncomfortable not to have privacy when taking a shower it’s ok for a couple. It wasn’t a bit thing and make sure you take mosquito repellent and cream for afterwards.

We used the place in an emergency situation, we live in Brussels ourselves, and it has given us just what we needed; beauty, peace and quiet. And a lovely feeling of being right in the arty center of our town.

Nice, spacious and open (sometimes a bit too open) home away from home

Good communication with the host, all the interior is with a nice touch (especially the wooden and ceramic floors), well equipped kitchen (expect for dishwasher). Many nice cafés nearby. And of course the little garden with the hammock!!

It was not clear from the listing, but there are absolutely no doors in the apartment, even not on the bathroom and toilet, so sometimes it got awkward. We also missed a washing machine and dishwasher, but our stay was also longer than average. The neighbours were sometimes really loud.

Enjoyable stay. Possible to walk into city centre of Brussels. Rue Dansaert just around the corner.

Location was very convenient (around the corner from Rue Dansaert). Owner (Luc) is friendly, helpful and flexible with check-in & check-out (with prior agreement). Apartment is located on the ground floor and building is secure, with a protected front door. If you like craft beer, go and discover Belgian Beer Project.

I like the place so much, a nice open space apartment. The location is also perfect, near shops but in a quiet road. Very good for those who wish to discover the center of brussels. I found the interior decoration so calming and charming.

Sprookjes Achtig appartement

Mooi ruim appartement. Centrale ligging 15 min lopen dan ben je in het centrum.

Het houten kralen gordijn wat fungeert als een deur tussen toilet en douche kan wel vervangen worden door iets soortgelijks van plastic. Als iemand in de nacht naar toilet moet kan het gewoon niet geruisloos, dat zou ik dus meteen vervangen. En wat sfeer verlichting in het schattige patio tuintje dat zou de kerst op de taart zijn. Verder is het appartement sfeer vol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien.

Frustrierend

Während unseres Aufenthalts wurden wir bereits um 5 Uhr morgens durch Bauarbeiten direkt vor dem Gebäude geweckt. Darüber hinaus wurde unser Fahrzeug aufgrund der Baustellensituation abgeschleppt, ohne dass wir im Vorfeld in irgendeiner Weise darüber informiert wurden. Eine derartige fehlende Kommunikation ist für Gäste äußerst ärgerlich und inakzeptabel. Unter diesen Umständen kann ich die Unterkunft leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Bazı eşyalar çok kirli idi özellikle ütünün altına bir şey yapışmış erkek arkadaşımın tişörtünü mafetti. Kahve yapamadım demlik. Kirli idi. Temizlik olarak memnun kalmadık. Kahve makinesinin kahve konulacak başlığı yerinde yoktu bulamadım.

Zeer aangenaam verblijf

Wat een aangename verrassing! Op een rustige maar toch dicht bij centrum plek ligt het verblijf. De inrichting en faciliteiten zijn fantastisch. Heel ruim, industrieel en leuke aankleding. Bed lag super. Overal interessante boeken en de cd's precies onze muzieksmaak. We voelden ons thuis. We hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van de keuken, maar volgens mij was die ook prima geoutilleerd. Er is een regendouche en een toilet achter een leuk kralengordijn (achter een muur dus wel privacy mocht je niet met partner reizen). Het is goed te bereiken met de metro en nog stukje lopen. Binnen 10 minuten sta je in het centrum. De weg ernaar toe door de Dansaertstraat is ook prima want leuke eettentjes, en mooie winkels om even binnen te wippen of de etalages te bewonderen. Contact met de verhuurder is prettig, anoniem maar met duidelijk e-mails en een sleutelkastje bij de deur. Kortom, we hebben enorm genoten en zullen zeker nog eens boeken als we weer naar Brussel komen.

Eigenlijk helemaal niets. Als ik iets zou moeten noemen, is het dat de douchekop nadruppelt en het niet superdonker is omdat er een lantaarnpaal voor de deur staat. Maar dat maakt ons helemaal niets uit want thuis is het ook niet pikkedonker.
