Great quiet place to visit Rouen

Great host, pleasant accommodation in a very quiet location approx. 25 minutes walk from the centre. Beautiful view. Comfortable facilities, nothing was missing. We appreciated the possibility of parking the car right next to the house.

Great wee place!

Great wee place in elevated situation overlooking Rouen. Accommodation is very comfortable, well equipped and includes an outdoor terrace. As each unit is situated on a steep hillside the steps up may be an issue for some. The owner, Daniel was very helpful.

Good stay in between the nature!

The split level property provides really good value for money.

The location was a bit difficult to reach plus the streets are very narrow. If one has a big car, it will be challenging to navigate and park. That being said, the host did help in finding an alternate parking.

Charming house with everything we needed. Nice outdoor space and lovely upstairs bedroom. Lots of steps up but didn't mind and great to have parking in the garage. Liked the swimming pool too.

Would have liked to be able to swim in the morning but the hours were 5pm until 8pm only. This could have been because of the residents who live there though

Would definitely stay here again, beautiful quirky property in the hills of Rouen.

The apartment was beautiful, and we felt safe and happy there. The swimming pool, which is available 5-8pm every day, was great too and had a stunning view. It was super quiet in this neighbourhood, just birdsong and rustling trees, and we enjoyed meals on the porch outside in the evening.

As the property description says, this apartment is at the top of a hill, and it is quite a steep walk up there - on steps and/or roads, especially with luggage. So just be aware of that if you're booking!

An entire little cottage with amazing views of Rouen! The owner lives on site and was super helpful. Free car parking in an actual garage.

Great views over the city. Short downhill walk to the centre. Bed was comfy and the cottage was very cosy. Friendly and accommodating host. There were chickens.

Private terrace in front of the accommodation with beautiful view, relaxing surroundings with nature and birds, very quiet neighborhood. Walkable distance to and from Rouen center (2km, 30mins) if you're in good physical condition (the house is on top of a hill, hence the view, Rouen at the bottom, near the river)

The bed was way too soft and our backs hurt after a week there. Most of the lights in the outside stairs aren't working, which isnt great for walking at night. The light in the WC isn't reachable for kids and there is no sink to wash hands in the WC

Excellent location for exploring the charming city center. Pictoresque green location, great town view from the terrace. The parking spot really useful in that narrow street neighbourhood.

The second bedroom is located in the basement. Poor wifi on the terrace. The location could have been better maintained and cleaned.

Gute Lage. Eigener Parkplatz (Garage auch wenn etwas eng ) .Eigene Terrasse. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber.

Badezimmer und Toilette sehr eng und von einander getrennt (unterschiedliche Ebenen). Toilette ohne Lüftung und ohne Waschbecken (keine Seltenheit aber trotzdem hygienisch nicht vertretbar). Die nicht wenigen Stufen von der Straße bis zu der Unterkunft insbesonders wenn man Gepäck schleppen muss. Zum Glück hat der Gastgeber geholfen und den schwersten Koffer nach oben getragen.

Individuell gestaltetes Ferienhaus in Hanglage im Rouener Vorort Bois-Guillaume. Schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf die Stadt. Poolnutzung im Haus des Vermieters, zu dem man durch einen herrlich verwilderten Garten gelangt. Freundlicher und unkomplizierter Gastgeber. Nur zehn Minuten Fußweg zum Hauptbahnhof und anschließender Innenstadt. Supermarkt fußläufig zu erreichen.

Uns hat es nicht gestört, aber vielleicht ist das für andere Bucher/-innen interessant: Das Haus erstreckt sich über drei Ebenen. Das untere Zimmer hat kein Fenster und ist nur über eine schmale Wendeltreppe erreichbar. Die Toilette befindet sich auf der zweiten Ebene neben dem Wohnzimmer, während das Badezimmer oben ist und keine Tür hat.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la vue. La position du logement permet en effet depuis les hauteurs, d'avoir une belle vue sur la ville. On comprend alors pourquoi la rue porte le nom de "Bellevue"
